My favorite holiday to decorate for is Christmas.....Since I don't observe Halloween or care about decorating for it, I begin in October....You two look adorable together and have wonderful decorating taste.
I don't think about Christmas till after Thanksgiving!!!! I do not like to rush the seasons!!! It goes so fast as it is!!!! I do love your sleigh Michelle!!!!

I love that you’re talking about Christmas now. I’ll have to admit I’m a crazy Fall person. And the things y’all were talking about really made me stop and think about what I maybe wanting and if there is something that I would like to add this year to my Christmas decor I need to start now. So thanks for doing this video!!😁 I’m from Alabama and think with the heat out here it’s just hard to think about Christmas.🥵😩🥵 We are just trying not to melt.🤣🤣 so Christmas is far from the mind. Just because we love Christmas doesn't mean we don't LOVE fall! We just love any excuse to fluff the home and have fun doing it 💕 We will probably still be in bathing suits swimming around Christmas in this Texas heat lol I'm glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching Cathy!
Unfortunately I don't have the time to go all out for Christmas in July but I definitely use it as an excuse to listen to some Christmas music. Also it's getting my gears turning for when I start decorating in November!
We totally understand not having the time, but hoping it inspires you to get those creative juices flowing for holiday decor this season!
I am not unsubscribing but, I cannot do Christmas in July. The Christmas season is IMO so over the top as it is, in December! I like simple, laid-back, low-key Christmases. Adding another season, in July, just goes against my grain. Just being honest here.

You ladies are my soul family. 😊 I'm one of those people that shops for Christmas decor at the garage sales all summer long. It's how I get great stuff at prices I can afford and still be able to buy lots of it! I just bought a cool, rustic table top tree, adorable (not cheesy cutesy) snowmen figures and high end greenery a week ago. A couple years ago I bought a real sleigh. It needs some serious love, as it was in even rougher condition than I thought (online auction during Covid) so it's not ready to be outside yet. I also have a small collection of vintage toys that I like to put around a tree for display in a booth I have. Never thought about sticking them ON the tree! 😲😍 And July is when I seem to be motivated to make Christmas items, even before I ever heard of Christmas in July.

I have a floor basket with a handle for Christmas decor books,,, one for fall and one for spring. I can be in the mood anytime of the year for Christmas. So I just make a cappuccino, bring my basket of Christmas to the kitchen and spend a few hours just getting inspiration . When I am done the basket goes back in the closet til the next time I have the urge. Same with fall decor. It may be in May that my brain thinks pumpkins!!!! Out comes the fall basket and a cappuccino!!! To me inspiration has no season, its whenever it hits me .

Love it x good idea too because with Christmas shopping x it turns out expensive x so planning and buying all year round is better x love your Christmas snow sleigh x i love autumn and winter x love Christmas x love all the greenery for Christmas x when my kids was little , i used do them their own little table and chairs x so they had all their own Christmas table set out for them and used hang balloons from their little chairs x they loved it x in England we do not decorate for each season live you do in the states x its only Christmas and helloween the big ones x some might decorate for Easter x but our winter decorations in the shops here , are not like you have x i use my decor all year round x only change it out when painting the rooms x you did your homes beautiful for Christmas last year x i love winter greenery in the house x I love Christmas x so looking forward too seeing more your ideas for Christmas xxx 😘😘😘🇬🇧🌲🎄

I have another idea for content. I'm looking at buying my first house and I'm wanting to buy something that I can renovate and make it perfect for myself. I was just wondering if you could do a video on tips on buying an older house to renovate, what do you look for? Should you get an electrician to look over the house first? I know it has to have "good bones", but who do you hire to check that? Things like that, I guess like a check list of things to go over / look for, when you buy a house.
That's a great idea! I've renovated two homes (one 1960's and one 1980's) and mom's renovated two (one 1980's and one 2000's). We have a video planned on how to renovate on a budget coming soon!
