Dundee as a city has always resonated with many Celtic fans , they voted Churchill out and have always demonstrated radical politics. Red cards from all fans when Thatcher appeared at the 88 Scottish Cup final! Good channel, cheers.
Such a shame all these cities in Scotland like to associate themselves with 2 Glasgow clubs that have no affiliation with instead of just supporting local
Ange gives nothing away to anyone not even the media has us fans guessing at times but that's what puts him above the rest of the managers in Scotland he's a breath of fresh air to celtic and the players he has brought in has been outstanding 👏

Great video. I didn't expect us to get much hoped of maybe a point or sneaky goal to win but wasn't for us. We are playing much better and for people to compare us to the results last season is stupid. We have improved and will keep to. Fox will show how good or bad he is in the next couple games.

Excellent piece yet again Sam ! I have a legitimate question for you ! Since VAR has been installed in the Scottish game, Rangers have had six penalties for, Zero against, no men sent off, five red cards to opponents, and no goals disallowed ! Conversely, Celtic have had five penalties against, seven goals disallowed and three men sent off. Does this reflect balance and fair play ? And is there any similar figures in the EPL that you can think of that equals such a disparaging set of decisions !
It was only a matter of time until Celtic scored & after the second goal it was like a Celtic training session,the gap in quality is huge.
Hopefully they leave so our league can be enjoyable and competitive for once
Good points lads... but sadly it's ALL about the money. Plain and simple. Celtic and Rangers face the same thing when they go and try to compete in Europe because there's a massive gulf between them and the clubs in the really big leagues... England / Spain / Italy / Germany etc... I think the horse has totally bolted, best any team can hope for now is to occasionally cause an upset... or pray that a middle eastern prince or government or Hollywood 'a'lister decides to buy your team... aka Newcastle / Wrexham ... 😊

Sam, please do a video on how much more revenue Celtic and Rangers generate, compared to every other club in the SPL. How wide has that gap become since the 70's & 80's till now? Is that correlated to the complete and utter domination of Scottish football by the old firm over the last 35 years?
As a lifelong United fan, I remember the McLean and Ferguson eras on the East Coast, it was a great time for truly interesting tight fought competitions. Now Celtic and Rangers simply have to show up, anything short of a flogging is a 'good result' for the other side and most of the oppositions fans are heading to the exits with 20 minutes left (if they bothered showing up) cause they can't stomach watching .... honestly it's sad to see.
I don't know the solution but for the good of the game in Scotland something needs to change. Keen to hear what others think? 🤔

Think of the amount of money celtic and rangers fans bring to the local economy when they play away which is great. But the SPL would be so much better if it wasnt a 2 horse race.
@@BadDubII Many years go thousands of Celtic fans came down to watch their team play Ipswich Town....... in a testimonial. The local police chief sent a telegram to Celtic FC commending the club's supporters for their behaviour. I can remember when Aberdeen and the Dundee clubs were giving Celtic and Rangers a run for their money. At present it looks like the best supporters of other SPL clubs can hope for is a decent cup run.

Its a conundrum - the biggest 2 clubs bring the most revenue, but literally kill the opposition... any changes that are suggested, such as restricting the number of foreign players - to try and encourage more local talent - are met with fierce opposition, as realistically Celtic and Rangers would fall further behind the real competitiion which for them is the european champions league - where one victory almost pays as much as winning the SPL!!! Its a very difficult problem... 🤔
It's a shame the league isn't more competitive but what do you want Celtic to do? Stop being a big club? Sell less tickets? Our revenue is generated in an organic way so I'm not really sure what we're supposed to change
Only solution I can think of is for the smaller Northern European leagues (Scotland, Ireland, Denmark, Norway etc) to combine and have Celtic and Rangers compete in that. Keep both of them in domestic cups though. Sadly it's just a dream of mine and will likely never happen
If someone comes from abroad and they end up in Dundee they should turn around and leave
Wasn't a classic but I'll take it all day. In spite of us winning by 9 last time you can never underestimate United. Any win at a good away ground like that all you want.
