Not only is this the clearest directions I've seen in a hand carding video, it's the only one I've seen using fleece rather than roving or comb top.

This is literally the best video I have seen on hand carding. You are clear, concise and to the point. Amazing thank you!

Thank you! As the others say, the clearest demonstration I have found so far. I have been struggling with my hand carders but after seeing this, I will definitely persevere!

I agree! I was taught this many years ago and needed a "review" - this is better then what I was originally learned. Thank you!

This is such a well made video! You explained it so clearly and i appreciate how clear the video quality is. All of the videos i've found before this one never quite explained it well enough. Thank you for sharing you're knowledge!

Best information on carding I have found. Explains the curve in the carders for resting on the legs while carding and then using for making rolags. Thank you Fiona.

I love that you don't rub the carding cloth together! It's so hard on the cloth and even harder on the person carding.

    Hi,
I've just watched your video and wanted to say thank you, I'm very much a beginner spinner but while watching and rewinding your video I've just sat and made 4 very airy woolly rolags....not sure who is more delighted, me or my cat !!

Definitely the best video on carding that is on RUclips! Thank you, Fiona. You explained what you were doing, and the videographer zoomed in on your hands and your cards in such a way that the view wasn't blocked. Please post more videos - I'm sure they will be helpful.

Lovely! But I'm a Comb kind of girl. I find I can get a gossamer thread when I comb the fibers.

Thanks! Best tutorial I've found that combs/fluffs both ends of the wool locks, so many people in tutorials seem to do mainly one end which makes for horrible spinning.
