Thank you! As the others say, the clearest demonstration I have found so far. I have been struggling with my hand carders but after seeing this, I will definitely persevere!
This is such a well made video! You explained it so clearly and i appreciate how clear the video quality is. All of the videos i've found before this one never quite explained it well enough. Thank you for sharing you're knowledge!
Best information on carding I have found. Explains the curve in the carders for resting on the legs while carding and then using for making rolags. Thank you Fiona.
Hi, I've just watched your video and wanted to say thank you, I'm very much a beginner spinner but while watching and rewinding your video I've just sat and made 4 very airy woolly rolags....not sure who is more delighted, me or my cat !!
Definitely the best video on carding that is on RUclips! Thank you, Fiona. You explained what you were doing, and the videographer zoomed in on your hands and your cards in such a way that the view wasn't blocked. Please post more videos - I'm sure they will be helpful.
Thank you for the clear and concise demonstration! I'm very new to working with raw fleece and yours is the video I come back to whenever I need a refresher on handcarding.
Thanks! Best tutorial I've found that combs/fluffs both ends of the wool locks, so many people in tutorials seem to do mainly one end which makes for horrible spinning.
Thanks for this Fiona. I know from experience it's not as easy as it looks for a beginning spinner, but your video was very clear and easy to follow. x
Not only is this the clearest directions I've seen in a hand carding video, it's the only one I've seen using fleece rather than roving or comb top.
This is literally the best video I have seen on hand carding. You are clear, concise and to the point. Amazing thank you!
Thank you. I’ve worked through loads of carding videos and yours is far and away the best.
One of the best carding- videos here. Thank you very much for sharing (and teaching us so well)! Best greetings from a german spinner.
Thank you for a great demonstration of hand carding.
I am sure I will be able to achieve a rolag. Thanks again
Excellent teaching! Thank you!
Thank you! As the others say, the clearest demonstration I have found so far. I have been struggling with my hand carders but after seeing this, I will definitely persevere!
I agree! I was taught this many years ago and needed a "review" - this is better then what I was originally learned. Thank you!
I love your video!!! I will look and see if you have more!

Best information on carding I have found. Explains the curve in the carders for resting on the legs while carding and then using for making rolags. Thank you Fiona.
I love that you don't rub the carding cloth together! It's so hard on the cloth and even harder on the person carding.
Great video! Thanks
Oh my goodness. Finally, it makes sense! So simply explained and demonstrated. Now I feel ready to tackle my fleece. Thank you!!!
As a newby to Spinnng your video was very helpful and concise. More videos please, and thank you for your time.
Excellent and not fussy at all! Cozy room as well!
Incredibly helpful! Thank you!
Someone kind gave me a fleece recently. I've washed it and wasn't sure what to do next. Your carding video was very clear and helpful, thank you!

This is very good thank you, where did you get your lovely carders from please
I am wondering the same ! A shepherdess just dropped off a beautiful fleece for me this morning & I am on the hunt for some nice big careers !
#carders # auto correct strikes again. . .
Yeh, Fiona, nice to see you do and teach this. Is this your own studio? Greetings and hug, Betty
Thank you for sharing!
Please may you do a video on how to spin a rolag
Lovely! But I'm a Comb kind of girl. I find I can get a gossamer thread when I comb the fibers.
Thank you for the clear and concise demonstration! I'm very new to working with raw fleece and yours is the video I come back to whenever I need a refresher on handcarding.
That was so helpful. Thank you!

Brilliant Thank you...I'd been doing mine from the top!!! Studio looks lovely :)
