Anyone watching and wondering what the heck this is & feeling sad your newborn stage wasn’t like this, you are not alone. this is not even close to reality for most mothers. & that’s okay! you’re doing great whatever postpartum looks like. ps you def don’t need to make your bed. you should be resting in it! 😉 (note from a 2 time momma)
I’m a heath visitor- As beautiful as this short clip is and congratulations to the new mother life is def not this magical for new mums it chaotic , messy and most of the time mothers don’t get a moment to make a cup of coffee. I believe this mother has cleaner, home helps
For anyone watching who is also postpartum. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ACHIEVE THIS. This is a set of NON-CANDID shots, made to look like her life is perfect. Fuck that. You don’t need to look like this to be a good mother. Edit: I’m 13 days pp and I literally saw nothing but this type of content before I had my son. Now I see how naive I was, because I don’t have this, I’ll never have this, and this is so fucking fake. Notice she doesn’t hold her baby for this entire short, puts a blanket on her (!!!!) and it’s sponsored for super expensive diapers/wipes. Hold your babies tight and buy the Pampers, you will still be a wonderful parent, I promise!
Thank you thank you. I was watching RUclips mom blogs everyday before becoming a first time mom and oh boy did I get disappointed in myself once reality hit me hard. Call me naive. But it did painted an unrealistic picture for me. 😂
Too smart and abusive mother to live off the views and likes of people who believe and approve of this nonsense of seeing other people's lives...very voyeuristic
5 days PP? Mama rest!!! Your uterus still has its plate size wound. This time is critical for your body’s healing. Stay bed side, bring all babies items and essentials in the caddy to your nightstand, ask hubby to make your meals and your coffee!! Stay on one floor and just dwell with baby in bed. Make the content from the comfort of your bedroom. Rest will help milk supply as well. I didn’t rest with my first. My second I did and it was wonderful and I had a better recovery!! 5 days in the bed, 5 days on the bed, 5 days near the bed is the full rest regimen. Take it easy❤
Yes exactly! And dont make this a trend so that every mom in her postpartum thinks she is doing miserable!! Because everybody knows this is only on sociale media!❤
Everybody told me that stupid 5-5-5 rule.. Girl, I could never. 😂 Even if I was at home, I'd go freaking stir crazy if I sat around my bedroom for more than 3 or 4 days. My uterus can learn to keep up with me. 🤣 Unfortunately, in reality, we were in and out of the hospital and doctors (complications for me + baby had bad jaundice) for the first week, so I couldn't even be at home if I wanted to. All that to say, moms pushing 5-5-5 is really frustrating to me because I didn't even have a chance at that. And even though I couldn't control that, I felt pretty judged. I was limping around hospitals and labs crying from pain and grieving the loss of my calm, restful recovery at home. Grieving the fact that I couldn't even hold my baby unless he was eating (and that was a struggle all its own) because he needed to be under the lights. Postpartum isn't so straightforward for some of us.
I feel like a lot of moms (myself included) can’t do this. I was in the hospital for 3 days sitting in a bed resting and that was more than enough time because I was going crazy. Once I got home I hated being in bed unless it was to have contact naps or feed my son.
People, please don’t believe that life with a newborn should look anything like this. If it does, nice, if it doesn’t, also nice - don’t forget you’re human! This looks like an ad and nothing else.
@Isabellediaz112 it's not to me to judge is she a billionaire of not, I just said that she earns money . Without the staff it's impossible with the small baby on hand😉
When I was a mother, my mother and sisters helped me for 20 days. A new mother should rest and take care of herself and her child only until she adapts and her body becomes stronger again. I salute you, you work twice as hard.
Not everyone gets that. My husband helped out the weekend my son was born. But by Monday he had to be out for a mandatory business trip since he's in an executive/leadership role. So for a week I was home alone, with a newborn, and recovering from a c section. It was hard, but it had to be done. And we had a harder recovery so we had to be at appointments everyday (I was lucky to have a village to take us to appointments because I couldn't drive).
Crazy how much change can happen in a year, I love this for you ❤. Enjoy these precious moments with baby Stetson, get your rest Mama bear, and have a safe recovery. Congratulations again to your little family 💕💗!!

Hey I don't want to be that person but be careful with blankets and pillows. This can increase a child's risk of sids. " Sudden infant Death Syndrome". Now guidelines could have changed. If you haven't, check in with your health provider about this. I took a few years going to school for early childhood Ed and worked at a preschool. Also never co sleep with your baby either. Another reason for S.I.D.S.
