So much has been achieved since Kim Jong-un offered friendship only 9 months ago. When the Cherry Blossom blooms in April 2019, some will still seek to divide, but I hope Pyongyang and Seoul will continue to grow closer and do much greater things.

This is very impressive stuff, as earth-shaking as the day the Berlin Wall fell in 1989 signifying the end of the old Soviet Union and the Cold War. However in this case, we are watching the beginning of reunification, not the dissolution, of a nation. Seeing Kim like this personalizes him just as Reagan did with Gorbachev. How can the Korean War NOT be over after this?
