TEKKEN 8 PATCH NOTES 1.05! This video is reviewing the patch notes for the 1.05 June patch. There's alot in these patch notes, and alot is changing in TEKKEN 8!

The Reina changes to her full crouch 4 is dumb, everything else is whatever
Removing the crouching status from fc.df4 is actually just stupid, completely agreed
Literally the change i disliked. It makes no sense, shes on the ground already, how is it not crouching?
heihachi main here - its because they dont like crushing launchers from crouch - Reina is already a really, REALLY solid pressure heavy character. She dosent need extra evasive properties to cheese when shes got so much going for her already - just use it for its intented purpose - ducking highs and launching and it will be all the same

I didn't like the fact that move ducked under my mids consistently. But remove crouching state is kinda wild

If the exclution list is 99% throws in the game, does the change even apply?
Well now there's a very easy counter play for most character's throw game.
Let's use Jin as an example.
You block his jab. Now you can either sidestep to avoid all of his command grabs (uf1+2, df2+3, qcb1+4), and if he goes for a generic grab, you know they are generic since those are the only ones that would track so they're easily breaked.
King's grabs will take a bit more risk to side step, but a lot of his key throws will have counter play now
They already did, its called ducking

This patch was sh!t. They buffed already strong characters and focused on character most played. Lars got nerfed as well as Alisa. And drag and king got buffed just to name a few. Total nonsense.

It'd be more interesting if we discussed actual changes and how they impact gameplay rather than just count buffs and nerfs.
Lars and Alisa are more than alright.
@@marting9568he got buffed but he got his throws nerfed, idk what these losers want. PS I would argue alisa and Lars needed more of a nerf.
My boi Steve finally got the changes he needed.
what he rly needs is a side sway launcher. without a launcher from side sway there is zero point using it except for the super tiny high crush window maybe.
