It's 2017 and this is one of my favorite games to play. Highly underrated in my opinion. Now that some years have passed, the game is so dated that it's hard to pick out what its faults were for it's time. This makes it easier to simply enjoy the game for what it is, and it's a ton of fun when you do. You say it's not a classic. I disagree.
This was probably one of the most underrated games in history. It got overshadowed that year by Left 4 Dead 2, Dirt 2, Borderlands, Arma II, League of Legends, Wolfenstein and so on. It was a hard year for a game like this to compete. I completed it about ten times when it was first released. Don't listen to what reviewers say about it, just play it. If you have a shitload of fun playing this then that's all that matters. Not saying this review is bad but all game reviews are mostly opinion. Watch gameplay vids without commentary and if you feel like you'll enjoy it, get it. You won't find it on Steam, but GOG sells it. I just grabbed it for under $4. Was 85 percent off. Sale ends in a few hours tho.
Nver heared about that game before but I will buy it. I like games like Mafia1, 2, BiA and so on. its great to see a openworld in Europe and not the US + in the 40s.
I mean yeah the game hasn't aged well but it still holds up enough. And people forget but when this game came out it was pretty refreshing. We either had a semi open Hitman, an open world game with Assasin's Creed which we were getting used to by then and GTA where all you did was shoot people in the face. This game kinda combined them all with an interesting setting. It blew my mind when I played this game. I believe I was 12 at the time (I played it 1 year late) my friend use to always come to my house just to play this game with me. Ragdoll physics were hilarious(and still are) which we laughed our asses all the time then had fun blowing stuff up, shooting Nazis in the face and looking at boobies (hey we were at the beginning of our puberty) So yeah I just downloaded this game via Origin Access and playing it again. While some of the voice actors are really underwhelming Sean him self is likable and passable on the believable side. I'd give this game an 8/10. Too bad we didn't get a sequel. Rest in Peace Pandamic
I picked it up again and it's crazy how even with old graphics and gameplay it's still very enjoyable! The atmosphere is cool. The era and area is one of the best. Nazi's in Paris. It's also quite large if you want to fully destroy everything which will give you a lot of hours to play with. It's sad we never got to see a part 2
I know a Swedish gal that looks identical to Skylar in every manner, and I mean IDENTICAL. Face, hair, smile, mouth, eyes, shape, height. I have told her this also and have shown her a few screenshots of Skylar. She agreed.
Someone tell me. I spent ages trying to find a tank in this game, and when I finally got in one the turret took what like a full minute for a 360 rotation. The game was fantastic other than a few respawning issues, like shooting down a blimp turning 180 to look the other way, looking back and it's respawned. The game was good for what it was. Under appreciated, but there were a few things that pissed me off. Anyone else found those pests I mentioned?
I enjoyed this game so much when I got it for my birthday, I loved the game and the idea of it. If only EA hadn’t rushed Pandemic out the door, perhaps the game would’ve been better. You can see how the ingame cutscenes slowly degrades in quality the farther in the story you get, further proof the game was sadly rushed. Better to have the current version than nothing at all.
They just put this review out now!? According to the date this video is only two years old and if that's true then this review is slow as f e c k cuz this game is 10 years old

IMightBeWrong this is the best game iv ever played...would love ea to make a remake
They shitcanned pandemic shortly after this released. No hope for sequel.
why does it turn black and white?
It turns black and white to let you know you are in Nazi controlled parts of the map.
I am playing through it now - and in HD, because on PC you can change the resolution

Thanks for the heads up. @@thedimarcoguy
The Saboteur was released in December 2009.
It was just released in Steam Mar 7, 2024. 15 years later, people are still playing this masterpiece.
Such a great and under appreciated game
One of the best games of all time. And no mods or dlc's needed to be Best!

@@GizStudPrez Yes, I did and because of it it still looks good enough
Its 2020 and this one of my favourite games..
9/10. To give this game less than that is stupid.
Ravenghost123 Why?
because even as an unpolished game, its a classic.
This game was well made and fun to play had alot of fun playing it !!!

Really obscure little gem.
Someone tell me.

I love this game and finished it few times. I just figured how it reminds me of Freedom Fighters for some reason.

It had planned DLC
Epic game! Love it!
Underrated like spec ops: the line. But this game needs backward compatible at less and a full blown 2.0 at most.
2020 and Ready... set... Play (again)!!
Yup! I'm downloading and installing it from GOG to play again as I type this!

The cars aren't easy to drive. It's like trying to drive with your ass.
You mean "arse"
The common cars are not great. The racing cars are much better to control, so try to get them as early as possible.
