Nice build. I have never thought of using a glue-stick for the tissue covering. And that makes more sense because it allows for the multiple colors of tissue. Thanks for the idea!
The true title of this model is the Cloud Buster. I don't care if Guillow's bought out Comet. This is originally a Comet design and it is a Comet Cloud buster.
Yep. Guillow's bought out Comet-Northeast Pacific in Spring 1998. They didn't continue the Comet line, however. Only a few kits. They just made the name Comet disappear.
As others have said- this used to be called the Cloud Buster. It is one of the best flying planes in the Guillow lineup. As a kid, it was the first rubber powered plane that flew really well when built to the plans.
Thanks for the comment. Yes I can stretch it out and wind it but sometimes is a pain. When I do a lot of winds it is hard to put it back in. Happy flying
i remember building this one and concluding it was maybe just a bit heavy for its lifr. next time i build it I might add a more powerful prop or something
Loved the model and the music!

Beautiful build, Carlos!!!!!
Nice presentation cool music. Should try some up thrust in the nose block.
Thank you for the great demo. Can you please identify the type of wood plane you used at the 2:03 minute mark. Thank you.
Awesome cool love free flight....
Great video. Thank you for doing it.

Very nice, apparently not your first one.
It is actually my first rubber band project. I used to build and fly giant scale RC planes
Are you able to stretch wind through the nose button hole? or do I need to make a nose block?

Yeah, you are right it is a bit on the heavy side. I'll definitively try more power. happy flying!
