As a Raider, I never thought I'd say this..But poor Lenny :( his little heart can't take this. Breck deserved to walk the plank, he had to pay...but ah, the world is cruel. So cruel.
Hope we get the win Sunday night I been a fan my whole life and only really remember one time in the playoffs and that was 2016 and carr was out with that broken leg it be so special and rare to see
These are literally the only things that have made any amount of sense this year in the NFL
Entering the finale, the storyline is as such:
Louis continues to hold control over the house, but fears the worst if he loses the crown to Eugene
Eugene is content, simply staying in the house for the sake of finishing the show
Jerry is eager to finally get rid of Louis and avenge Gavin
Captain Finn Oakley finally accomplished what he intended to do
Diego... Yeah I don't know, he just exists to talk to Louis whenever Louis is busy being evil
Lenny is shocked and appalled upon hearing Breck's fate, though whether his reaction is of rage towards Oakley or shock towards what Breck had done to Mack is undetermined
Somehow there are only 6 active characters, compared to the 8 of last season (counting Carl since he was still in the story from the start of the finale) and what seems to be a whole lot less solidified of a conflict
Considering how many of these teams will be in the playoffs, at least 4 and at most 6, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a couple more episodes

Expertly written and acted. I always find myself forgetting it’s one person acting each role. I love for every new episode.
I know right, the fact that each character is written so well and has their own unique personality makes me completely disregard the fact that Tom is the actor for all of them. Also helps that Tom is a great actor and can easily help us distinguish the differences between the characters, in all honesty I really think Tom could pursue professional acting if he ever wanted too

Better late then never! I love Gavin, he embodies every single one of us Seahawks fans. The highlight of this episode though was definitely Lenny and Breck! I go in thinking the next episode can’t possibly top the previous but it continues to do so. Great work as always Tom!

tom somehow has chosen the best two seasons to use divisions. last year was insanely close and kept the series hot with drama and action and this season he chose the divisional sets that have 6/8 characters still in playoff contention going into week 18. fucking incredible.
i feel like next year has to be the afc/nfc south so the 4th and final season ties everything together with coach by bringing in the afc north to wrap up the entire nfl saga

I don't know how every episode just has this ability to suck me right. back. IN. Amazing stuff this season. I found your channel earlier this year and never got around to watching the East reactions from last year, but I just started watching and the storytelling is some of the best I've ever seen. All comedic characters just get these intense character arcs and everything flows so well. It's a sight to see.
As a Broncos fan this really hurts. The Pat Shurmur line hits too close to home (never liked that hire) but we had our chances. We could have taken the crown for at least a week. We could have taken the Chargers' playoff spot. We lie in the bed we made. Hopefully we get Rogers or Wilson to put us over the edge and at least get into the playoffs. At least fire Shurmur and McMahon. Please.
That was one fine Lenny monologue and Grandpa's comforting words were wonderful.

The perfect Week 18 to end the series:
Chiefs beat Broncos (Chiefs win so Lenny doesn't have to monologue and the cliffhanger progresses into the next episode more naturally)
49ers beat Rams (Despite all efforts, Louis's nightmare is realized, and Jerry finally earns Eugene's respect by giving him one last chance to win the division)
Cardinals beat Seahawks (Eugene steals the division lead back, this time for good)
Raiders beat Chargers (Captain Finn Oakley delivers the final blow to the LA twins and their hope for supremacy)
That's good but now let's do a darker take on it.
Chiefs beat Broncos as you said
Rams beat 49ers keeping the division lead and officially clinching the NFC West.
Seahawks manage to upset the Cardinals causing Eugene's health to deteriorate even more.
Chargers beat the Raiders officially eliminating them from playoff contention and allowing them to get a trip to the postseason.
This is like the Golden Ending of a videogame after meeting all the requirements.
Yup, that's what I'm hoping for as well, as a Seahawks fan

There's no way this is Breck's last appearance, I refuse to believe Tom spent that much money on a Breck jersey for one episode
We never saw him die or heard a sound effect. Also, I'm pretty sure you could survive a fall from a 2 story roof.
Actually, the Breck jersey was a gift from a while back! So technically Tom wasn't the one who paid for it.
But yeah, I think it's still open for Breck to not have died here.

There were some really deep callbacks to lore in this one! Francis reveal, Mack mentioning "Sunday Best", and I think the woods being "haunted" has some significance too.
Also, anyone notice how the thumbnail text this week is black instead of white? Raiders color, color of darkness, ...color of death?
Or just to contrast the white background it was typed on.

I really wish there was somewhere I could get a summary of the stuff that’s happening in Coach, because I feel like I’m missing out on a lot in the lore because I’m not up to date on that series, and I just don’t find it as compelling.

I love how this series impacts how I want NFL games to turn out, normally I’d want to see the Rams win because of Stafford, but now im rooting hard for the 9ers and Cardinals to win so Louis can’t win the crown and same with hoping Vegas beats LA. I’m very interested to see where this show goes. Beautiful series.
There's so much I want to talk about here!
Tom said during a Q&A to keep an eye on the characters that weren't invited on the show. That's Lenny, Louis, Captain Finn Oakley, Wildflower, Ambition, and, now, that includes "Noah" as well. This was at least a couple months ago, but now that things are coming to an end, I'm excited to see how things end for each of these characters! The cycle of vengeance is a dark one that rarely sees a good end.
Breck wasn't the first one this season to get a custom jersey. Louis was seen carrying a custom Rodgers Vikings jersey towards the start of the season (I think Week 3 or 4?). Lenny giving Breck his jersey was such a nice sentiment, but I'm still gonna meta the moment and mark it down as evidence that he is awake.
When Tom said he knew what he was going to use the Midshipmen Glee Club's cover of "Drunken Sailor" for, I always envisioned Mack and Captain Finn Oakley in an epic swordfight to determine who was The True Raider. This was said well before Mack's death, and hearing the song just broke my heart in so many ways, but how could you not get hyped up listening to that song?
Lenny does not strike me as the type of person who could kill someone else, at least not with the way he acts now. Lenny from Week 1, however, is an entirely different story. I've been waiting so long for Lenny to drop the act, and Breck being murdered might just be the thing that pulls the mask off of his face. Perhaps Grandpa Cardinal can save the day? Or will he be dead first?
Can't wait to see how this plays out next week, and something tells me that the games will have very little to do with the outcome.

I wanted to point out how the crappy eyepatch went from "haha funny low budget pirate." To potentially the single most significant prop in the series. I know I'm a couple years late but bravo
I've progressively started to hate Diego as a Chargers fan throughout this series. Kinda sucks that we're portrayed as the bad guys here lol

Grandpa Cardinal was completely right all along about him. As soon as Louis got a taste of power he became no better than the rest of them, in fact becoming even more corrupted.

There’s always 2022 Breckthaniel - all the Lenny’s here in KC love our fellow midwesterners in the AFC “West”. Maybe you’ll get Rodgers and we can have two State Farm Bowls a year since the first two never happened.
PS: I would totally be down with renaming the division the AFC Mountain. Since the Raiders moved to Sin City, it only feels natural to split the difference and average it out
