❣❣❣👍👍👍👍 YAY! ELIZA!!!! 👍👍👍❣❣❣ GREAT JOB!! Those were tough!! I didn't know what the cow pincher was either!! You are such a good SPORT, and so much FUN!!!🤗 I LOVE THESE!!! Thanks, Eliza and Dad...Good one!! 😁😄👍 Take care, Sue xoxo
Don't feel bad Eliza, you did great! If my parents hadn't collected some of these things (particularly the juicers and the moustache cup), I wouldn't have known what they were either! I had NO idea about the farm implement, I thought it might be for pressing those tags on a cow's ear or something! I only guessed the skate key (slightly before my time :)) because I remembered someone showing me one once and I thought it resembled a bottle opener. I think it's funny that the peeler is just way larger and more complicated than the little handheld ones I grew up using but hey, they found ways to make work easier! Definitely do a series comparing the antique and newer versions!
Hi Eliza! I'm 63 and I didn't know the skate key or the farm implement. I enjoy watching you and your father interact. You're a good sport. Please keep on playing this game with your Dad.
Oh how fun❣️ Great Job Eliza! I’m 59 and I only knew juicer and skate key!!! ....bc that’s what my roller skates looked like when I was young.....by the time I was a teenager they came out with boot skates and we went to skating rinks ....so much fun and much easier then the old kind!! I still have the boot kind I got when I was a teenager. Eliza is a great sport and it’s awesome you are teaching her the ways of old times! I was really rooting for her on the roller skate key🎉🗝 My sister brought out old ice cube trays the old metal with lever kind and none of my kids or nieces and nephews age 27 to 45 knew what it was.....amazing what has changed over the years! Thank you for sharing😊kim
@@eaglerider1826 Brand New Key" is a pop song written by folk singer Melanie, which became a novelty hit in 1971-72. Taken from Melanie's album Gather Me, it was also known as "The Rollerskate Song" due to its chorus. It was her biggest hit, reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in December 1971 and January 1972. It reached #1 in Canada and Australia, and #4 in the UK charts. The song is lighthearted in tone, sung from the viewpoint of a girl with roller skates trying to attract the attention of a boy:

Poor Eliza! Woosh! Dad, you picked some items my grandmothers-or-fathers would have used, and I'm 72!

@@66uniqueantiques True story! I think things just get a stuff version of "uncool" sometimes, then it's all over.
What a lovely father, waiting for your daughter.
I'm in a house of 4 girls I'm always waiting 🤣🤣
👍🏼👍🏼😂😂😂wise man
I've got a pair of brand new roller skates, you got a brand new 🗝️
I hope they play that song for her!!!
@@alanatolstad4824 Great idea!
We absolutely will
When I saw the roller skate key it reminded me of a song from 1970 called " Brand New Key "
I'll have to look that one up as I was an 80's kid 😃
@@66uniqueantiques It's really corny , but it played constantly . It's about a girl trying to pick up a boy using the roller skate as an excuse .

@@66uniqueantiques That's great! Early skills.and interests can be lifetime skills. Plus she's a cutie, and she has fun on camera.✌
Great video! Reminded me of “The Liar’s Club” TV show back in the 70’s when celebrities had to guess what items were.
Thanks for watching
Miss Eliza did well. I know people much older than her who wouldn't know what those items were.
Thanks Mary! She loves doing these so we will keep them going
Can you do a 101 on antique china dolls?

That's the weirdest looking peeler I've ever seen.

Eliza is so sweet , in 10 years she will have enough knowledge to take over your store . By the way I sent you an E-Mail , let me know if it helps .
I agree.... I'll be at the shop tomorrow I'll check it out

I doubt Eliza has ever heard Brand New Key.
So do I, unless her folks listen to oldies stations! (Do you, Mike & Amber???)❤🙋♀️
She has not heard of it and neither have we. I'll have to look it up
