I find a refreshing lack of bullshit in Marti's interviews. If he is like this with the players, it's not surprising there's been progress. I like the way he's got Smyth, Chair, Saito etc. using the width of the pitch.

We can achieve playoffs but we need to push still take 1 game at a time but main concern we get 50 to 53 points then we are safe in league then see how many more we can accumulate come on urrrrs
Regardless of the ownership and management challenges over the last 12 months or so, I am so please that Marti and his team are pulling together on such a small budget and financial challenges. Wouldn't it be amazing if we actually had some real money to spend to push us up the table one season?
His wisdom & acumen was last seen when Alec Stock was manager.The team is evolving gradually with younger players being introduced into the first team.That way we can consolidate our position in the Championship, with the long term objective of playing in the Premier League without being relegated the following season .

A good win but we pushed our luck.These short passes from goalkeepers only work if the players control the ball.It's a part of the modern game now.I think the long ball is better.Great substitions though.
