Isaac Albéniz: "El Puerto" from Iberia Book I

Isaac Albéniz (1860-1909) was a Spanish composer and pianist best remembered for his collection of twelve piano pieces, Iberia, written 1905-1909. Eleven of the twelve are based on dance forms; "El Puerto" draws on the zapateado, an exciting dance with rapid footwork and guitar strums. These influences are especially heard in the passage beginning at 0:45.
I performed this piece for several recitals and masterclasses in 2020 and 2021 and made this recording in August 2020.
