Thanks Wayne for doing this segment! In Indonesia there are multiple channels that cover VOB "news", but in the US it is generally just song reactions, so VOB news in English can be hard to come by. As to the specifics of the split between VOB and 12Wired/Amity Asia, VOB has issued a statement and Nadia Yustina (former VOB manager and founder/director of Amity Asia and managing director of 12Wired) has issued a statement, the rest is just speculation. No doubt though that "Mami" Nadia played a huge role in bringing VOB to the world for the last five years (and how many bands call their manager "Mommy"?). Independence is a very tough road to take, but few know better than VOB about how to travel a tough road. They have the strength and they have the conviction, will this be one more part of their "legend?"

From what I have seen and read (including the seminal Live at Penny Lane video where she interviews and talks about the band), she recognized their huge importance and cared deeply for them (hence the Mami nickname). She provided a lot of stability and literally opened up a whole new world for them.
I'm really looking forward to their second album being released. I hope their album will have more than 15 songs that I can listen to. and also hope that they release a physical album.

He also a teacher in VOB school. He also counseling teachers in VOB school. He also the first person teaching VOB to play guitar, bass, drums, writing music, lyrics and how to composed and arranging music. He also encouraged VOB girls to read a lot of books, especially Literature Indonesia and English books. That's resulting VOB lyrics in flowerish literature lyrics, telling and delivering lyrics the way around. Since 2014 until 2017 , since VOB girls just happily recorded their Original Song THE ENEMY OF EARTH IS YOU, Covers Guirella Radio RATM and some RHCP Covers into Facebook, RUclips, and being SHARED by Fans throughout media social such as Twitter, RUclips, Facebook etc, VOB suddenly become booming and virals worldwide. I didn't see that bit of the PMS description, although since they wrote that those specific lyrics (which obviously aren't in English) are what they'd be performing from now on, you've made a very strong inference. I'm a really big fan of VOB, they are such amazing and unique...but..I have to be honest..after all, it's show business, so without a strong machinery behind it, it's very difficult to independently find a way to the world stage...I'm afraid, I'm really afraid that such a strong band as VOB will remain only at the local level, unless they find a good promoter..because VOB deserves worldwide attention..( And if we look at the viewership on RUclips, the largest number is from the European Tour and part of the American tour..after that, there are fewer and fewer views..VOB deserves much more)..greetings from Bosnia 💜💪💪🤘🤘
Interesting. Frankly I was disappointed with the Retas release and the reworking of older songs. Perhaps this wasn't what the girls wanted all along and now they've wrested control back. Looking forward to new material from them.

They only canceled their current schedule and need rearranged a new one. The most important thing in a band is to create masterpiece and grow bigger, It's evident when they release an album; they didn't get good promotion although the album is sick. There's no music video for any new songs in the album by previous management.Siti still doesn't have a drum set until now, and Marsya lost her Gibson. In indonesia famous persons like them should be 1 millon subcribers. Now they have now released 'The Other Side of Metalism' in just two weeks.
It's seems that VOB seems to feel restricted by their old management, although personally I think the management did it for the band's own benefits. For example, the reason why The Other Side of Metalism wasn't officially released/not included in the album, is probably because the English lyrics don't make sense and the music may need some fine tuning. VOB also don't seems to be happy with management censoring their lyrics, but that's probably saved them from a lot of troubles. On the other hands, I think that's the management decision for the to play a lot of covers in their setlist, and I sensed that the band want to play more of their original songs. But no matter what, more power to the girls, may they reign supreme in years ahead
I've got mixed feelings about the girls' break with their previous management. I do applaud their desire to chart their own course and return to their original artistic vision. However, that management was a very useful tool to give them a foothold beyond the borders of Indonesia. A huge example is the Hu tour that they had to cancel; it would have given them massive exposure to new markets and the Hu's own fan base. The point is, VoB need to view the management as useful tools to build career momentum. Once that momentum becomes self-sustaining, **then** they should think about either severing ties with their management, or renegotiating from a position of strength. In other words, in the beginning the band needs their management company more than vice versa, but after a while the management company needs the band more. And that's the jumping off point.

The most important thing in a band is to create masterpiece and grow bigger, It's evident when they release an album; they didn't get good promotion although the album is sick. There's no music video for any new songs in the album by previous management.Siti still doesn't have a drum set until now, and Marsya lost her Gibson. In indonesia famous persons like them should be 1 millon subcribers. Now they have now released 'The Other Side of Metalism' in just two weeks.

It's seems that VOB seems to feel restricted by their old management, although personally I think the management did it for the band's own benefits. For example, the reason why The Other Side of Metalism wasn't officially released/not included in the album, is probably because the English lyrics don't make sense and the music may need some fine tuning. VOB also don't seems to be happy with management censoring their lyrics, but that's probably saved them from a lot of troubles. On the other hands, I think that's the management decision for the to play a lot of covers in their setlist, and I sensed that the band want to play more of their original songs. But no matter what, more power to the girls, may they reign supreme in years ahead
I've got mixed feelings about the girls' break with their previous management. I do applaud their desire to chart their own course and return to their original artistic vision.
However, that management was a very useful tool to give them a foothold beyond the borders of Indonesia. A huge example is the Hu tour that they had to cancel; it would have given them massive exposure to new markets and the Hu's own fan base. The point is, VoB need to view the management as useful tools to build career momentum. Once that momentum becomes self-sustaining, **then** they should think about either severing ties with their management, or renegotiating from a position of strength.
In other words, in the beginning the band needs their management company more than vice versa, but after a while the management company needs the band more. And that's the jumping off point.
