The thing about this kinda of issue is, your brain doesn't register with fight sometimes. It enters confusion mode because you are deciding between did it really happen or did I make a mistake. Some people initially would retreat to process it before they say anything and some people would go straight into fight mode. You can never tell your response especially if it's unexpected and from a certain person.
Plus, sexual predator isn't written on the forehead and some people let their intrusive thoughts get the best of them and they act in the moment without thinking of the repercussions.
