I see. Aria is a virtual idol, she has nightmares that if anything happens to her friends she can't do anything to save them. I'm guessing, she's not like the other intelligent constructs that has physical bodies, but instead she is a independent ai that only uses that robot body of hers as a vessel, meaning she needs to be able to connect to her body to use it. In her nightmare, it looks like she got cut off when she entered that space like void (the hollows) just like any other communication devices.
The way I look at it, it seems like aria originally was a human idol like the others but then she died when trying to save her bandmate from a certain accident. Then she got rebuild as a cyborg with the original Aria memories

@kirilles05 I think the game can be good without it, they just need a cohesive story again. Season 1 had a clear overarching plot. Season 2 is just all over the place.
@JoelPerry1 I mean, I liked TVs cause it was an interesting mode. Definitely had it issues and filler missions, but it was interesting. Now we don't get any sidequests at all and have generally forgotten that we are proxies, that we struggle with money, that we supposed to keep low profile. Just compare the moment when PubSec officers have almost found out our secret and we were barely saved by Zhu Yuan to the co-op event where we basically tell everyone we are proxies. It feels like writers forgot the world they've created themselves. Could have made proxies legal again after Bringer's death if they want to ditch this part of the lore

@kirilles05 To be fair, the siblings being proxies was always an open secret. It was only HSO and NEPS members that they kept it a secret from. Heck, everyone on Sixth street knew about Phaethon. As far as side quests, you're not wrong, though we did get a few with Sweetie and the antique shop, it wasn't nearly as many as TV mode offered. But if the story were actually good, it would carry the lack of side content. I don't dislike TV mode, but I don't like it either. It's just a way to present the game.

because it's NOT in Weifei Pinninsula it's on 6th Street the game FEELS better in Urban Environments and since the Angels are stationed on 6th Street even the music feels closer to how when the game first launched instead of this weird Liyue knock off direction it's been randomly heading into since 2.0 launched..
