Supply and Demand, Free market. Some people have a hard time understanding simple economics.
Your right free market. 94 percent of trucking companies have less than five trucks. I bet your carrier contract has a no back Soliciting. It is hard to sell while driving. Kinda shooting fish in a barrel when negotiating with carrier. All my flat bed rates have been cut out of ohio. Still pull 5 to 6 bucks a mile to go to washington dc area. But to back haul. Shit rates are as low as 15 years ago. Can't wait to hear you all complain when A.I. takes your place. Like imagination has affected my business.
AI is unlikely to fully "take over" the freight brokerage industry in the near future. Instead, it will gradually transform and augment the industry, making brokers more efficient but still needing human oversight, especially in areas that require judgment, negotiation, and personal relationships. A complete AI takeover could be decades away, if it happens at all, depending on technological advancements and industry trends.
