Hahahaha!!!! The wobbly sewing machine made me pee a little with laughter. Then to top it off the needle falls out not just once but twice. OMGoodness!!! Me, coffee, and you each morning is the best time and so uplifting. Don't ever change. LOVE YOU!!!!
Super fun! You give me hope!!! I’ve got the same machine and I’m forever re-threading. Haven’t had the needle fall (yet! 🤦🏻♀️) Thanks for being REAL! These are great ideas with the cards.♥️
Good morning! Pam, you have been such an inspiration for me. Made my first little journal and now working on another while binge watching your videos. X
I haven't seen your videos in awhile and I forgot how much I enjoy the chaos of it all here; it helps me manage and accept my own chaos! I had to laugh though when you first brought out your box of prefilled bobbins! I just bought me a box last week thinking "I have to have these! I hate winding bobbins!" 😂🤣
Pam I love these ideas! Do you do cards too when it’s a birthday or any occasion? How about any sort of junk journaling art? I was thinking of something like we decorate in the journals but maybe doing it on a clipboard, a tray or shelf, that kind of idea? Have you did any videos of these kind? Thanks for all you do, Barb from Ontario.
Like the preloaded bobbins!! Thank you so very much for showing your problems and how you resolve them!! This helps others (me) to have courage to try new things with tools! I love the playing cards usage. Wonderful ideas. You are so very creative. I truly do enjoy watching you.
@@seameologyI make my own "preloaded" bobbins by leaving a whole bunch of them filled with my thread of choice... That way I don't get (so) angry when one ends because I can just quickly replace it 😂
I love all the ideas you came up with to use cards! I would have never thought of most of them! 😂😅😂 My sewing machine stays mad at me. 😂😅😂 I love hearing your birds and seeing Sunny's pupdates! He is so cute! And, of course, I love watching your videos. Thank you! ❤😊
Ah, ok. I just couldn't imagine a place colder than MN in the US. I forgot about Alaska. Although this is unseasonably warm. We usually have had frost by now. But I'll take it. Happy fall crafting!
@@seameology i grew up in montana and i loved the fall time of year but spring really made me happy with flowers and green grass. Winter just lasts too darn long here in alaska as i really miss fall time in montana.
Always enjoy your vids, Pam and appreciate all the ideas you share. Love Sunny's pupdates.Sunny, we will have some cool nights coming up. Hope you have some warm pup sweaters to wear. 👍❤😁
Good morning Pam and happy Saturday🥰 Awesome ideas with playing cards, we have 4 Casinos here and you can get the discarded cards they are like brand new but they put a hole in the middle of them. Thanks for sharing hope you have a fabulous weekend. 💕Hugs
Pam,you have the patience of a saint. if that faux pas with the machine happened to me. I would be swearing like a sailor and wanting to hurl said culprit to last week.
Hello miss pam and sunshine and holly and Leonardo and happy and poppa hey pam your video Monday was silent I couldn't even hear sun bun's pup report but it's all good ❤love you all
LOL!! Pam I think your sewing machine does not like to wobble like that therefore, it did not want to sew!! My newer machine (form the 90's is very tempermental that way) whereas my machine from the 70's is still a workhorse.....no comment from the machine from the 2000's as it only sews backwards!!! My sewing machine fixer guy passed away at the ripe age of 95 and it really seems to be a dying craft around here as our last fabric store had a fire and she decided to retire. No more fabric stores!!! aaaak! Love the use of the card idea! Keep warm!
Ha ha. But I don’t drink those kinds of drinks. And I get over sodas and start up again toooo easily!! Oh, maybe I could actually make something w all the junk journal stuff I have waiting for me!! 😂
Great tutorial Pam....one word...SEASICK...aaahahaha....your poor sewing machine. Yes, I've been a seamstress all my life and as much as I enjoy sewing ephemera pieces for my journals, I love my machine. Hand turning the wheel to sew over 5 card thickness is the correct way to love it. BTW, I've been buying pre-filled bobbins for years. Please try to keep her on a level and firm, solid foundation though, she gets her strength and power by being securely and firmly planted on solid tabletop. Soapbox gone. Oh, just a quick note, do you have the needle spot that has a flat edge on it and you have to place the needle in the hole to match the flat spot? Not all machines or needles have it, but if so, you may have needle slippage if it needs to be placed in matching the flat bit. Ok I'm definitely done now. I really enjoy your conversations. And Cub Pup Reporter.
Gooooood Morning, Pam & crafty-creative Outpostians! Mr Pigford... 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤ And YAY, more playing card ideas! But wow, i kept thinking you actually broke your needle... but no, it was just being stubborn. For future reference (and for those who may now be wary of attempting to sew the 5 card one), I think if you'd used a needle designed for heavy-weight stuff (denim/leather/upholstry), it wouldn't have had the falling out issue. Hand-cranking through was really the best solution (changing the needle right then would have made obvious hole-size differences, PLUS there's the added difficulty of changing a needle mid-sew - basically, a right PITA bread 😉). Another suspenseful episode, Pam. 😂 I really was wondering how you'd handle that sewing issue! Like a pro, of course. 🎉😊
Morning Pam! oh yeah machines hate 5 cards thick for sure. As you made your belly band page I noticed the deckled pages. Did you use those deckle rulers for that or you xacto frayed them? You know this video will make me run to the thrift store this morning to pick up all the cards they have…
Back in 04 I think it was I put some cards in an altered book and thought no one does that! Oh now I have even more ideas!! And I am not alone in the idea department. Just gotta start doing this. We played Liverpool Rummy for which you have a deck for each player. Even though just three of us I ended up with a small bunch of dis-cards. And my cards have puppies on them. Oh no. I think I have some bicycle cards somewhere and maybe Mary engelbreit cards? Unless I gave them away?? Oh sigh. If you read any comments of mine you know I have ideas and stuff but I have only made “so many” junk journal items and journals. Lots of ideas. Maybe the vids I watch take the place of crafting??? Hmmmm. Great ideas. I wanted you to slice the cards diagonally at least once. You sorta did. Chin nudges and belly rubs for Sunbun! ❤
Hi Pam I was wondering if you still have Holly Baby - I distinctly remember hearing him as you would do your videos long ago!! Please let me know.-if he is still around.!!
I recently found a pack of vintage playing cards at prairie peddlers craft and flea market- I was so excited I wanted to call and tell you… but I don’t have your number 😂 I can’t wait to use them but it’s in the back of my mind that I’ll be splitting up the cards yikes
Mr. Pigford! Isn't that an unusual name?! I wonder if it is related to Pickford, as in Mary? Maybe they changed it somewhere back in the family history? Or was his family the ones who lived near the river ford where they cross to drive the piggies to market? Inquiring minds want to know! 😉
Pam, love the fact your desk is messy and you don’t get stressed over imperfections. Love your sense of humor, also.

Pam, thank you for the smiles and laughter on top of great ideas. I LOVE that you don’t take things too seriously.
Pam, in a spooky themed page, how about combining the playing cards to always equal 13?😊
Ooo I love this, might steal that idea!
I made a small jj dedicated to women and used the Queen playing card. I placed 2 gold buttons on her chest to look like armor 😊
All I want to do now is sit and junk journal. Love your creations. Thanks for the pup update. ❤😊Donna
What I reckon from this is that Mr. Pigford was an absolute king 😂
Ha ha!! Great funny!! I didn’t get it at first. Now I do. Slow on the uptake!

I love the last one! Can’t wait to try that one! Thanks Pam! ❤️📕🇨🇦
Love the 5 card tuck! And can't wait to start sewing!! I'm still nervous though🫤
The Mr Pigford letter needs a pig stamp or picture at the bottom of the page. Would be so cute?

Love these ideas.
Good fun ideas
My guess would be that five cards was one too many. However, I loved how you used the cards as tuck spots.
Love the card tricks, thanks
Good ideas! Because of the plastic coating i find stazon ink pads are good for inking edges as it doesn't rub off so easily.
Great ideas,,, thank you for inspiration!
