As a former Albury resident I must say I really enjoyed this. You covered a few things that are rarely covered in other videos. A regular walk up monument Hill with my mother was a highlight of the week for a little kid, bus rides to Wodonga, even the local TV station was locally owned, but now it's nothing. All networked out of Canberra. If there is a down side to Albury now it is the almost "ghost station" feel of the famous railway station, that used to be a hive of activity back in the 70's and even 80's with an abundance of trains, and buses being used at times like today was unheard of. The Lavington Sports Club was the place to go of an evening, great local bands and hardly ever any trouble there. People respected each other back in the day.
Good views from the monument. If you vloged all the war memorials around Australia and New Zealand it would take some time. In case we forgot, lest we forget.

Thanks for sharing! It sounds like you have some great memories of the border! We loved our visit to Albury and hope to make it back someday soon.
I'm hoping to move to a rural area near Albury soon. Looking forward to it. Thank you for this vlog! :)
Lovely video
Also a great place to visit when in Albury is the Hume dam at Hume lake, just ten minutes out of town.
Yes, it’s a beautiful area for boating and taking in the scenery!

Thanks for sharing, yes, there are plenty of interesting memorials to see for sure!
What are the locals like? It looks kinda similar to Katoomba but less populous. Great music btw.
Read the signs. It's the botanic gardens.
Deeply respect all soldiers and service men∣women who helped the world to get freedom!
