I'm obsessed with my kindle, I've had a kindle since I was a teenager and now I'm 26 and I still prefer to read on it - I love the flexibility of the font size and backlight/screen color, I love how books are cheaper and accessible within seconds, and even factoring in production and materials, it's better for the planet as long as you read at least 28 books on it overall. You can also resell them when you upgrade which helps reduce waste! I have a kindle paperwhite with 32gb and over 300 books on it 💜
My partner just got the Kindle Paperwhite Signature for my birthday gift, I love it so much! I have the same black fabric cover from Amazon. I agree with everything you said! It’s so convenient and lightweight and I’ve read 3 books since I got it last week. I love the battery life on the Kindle and I haven’t had to charge it once since. I’m glad that my partner picked out the Paperwhite instead of the Kindle basic or the Oasis because I also like that it’s water resistant and that the screen doesn’t have a raised border, and that it has the warm light feature. The features on the Oasis I found myself not really caring for, it’s also more pricer than the Paperwhite. I also like the shape of the Paperwhite over the Oasis. Idk what it is but I just don’t like that the Oasis is asymmetrical and doesn’t lay completely flat on surfaces 😅 The Paperwhite also has a UBS-C charging input over a micro USB, which I prefer!
Oh, that airplane mode tip for library books is great! I never thought of that. Sometimes I just can’t quite finish a library book within the 3 weeks. Thank you!
I have a kindle paperwhite from 2012 that the battery is great on still it has been giving me fits so I upgraded to this one and i love it! 🤓💜 I feel like i read faster on a kindle I absolutely love the paperwhite it holds a lot of books and it has great battery life there just great and i love using dark mode it’s easier on my eyes 📚💜
I wanted something small, i already have my ipad and phone and needed something in between and the kindle basic was just perfect. I have been reading more since i got it and it is so amazing. 16gb, small and perfect. My best purchase fr.
This one you have is the 2021 Kindle Paperwhite (11th generation), 6.8' screen. I have the same one. The All New Kindle is the 2022 newest model. It has a 6' screen. Either way you cannot go wrong with either version. I love my Kindle. My fave tech device ever. By the way great review!
Even though I'm more of an audiobook person (I also still enjoy physical books sometimes), this video was really interesting to watch! I guess I won't say I'm never going to get an E-reader, but with the way I get my reading done currently, it works. It also helps me to listen to books since I have a bit of ADD at times, which makes it hard for me to concentrate and hearing someone else's voice can help with that 😊
I have been wanting to get a kindle so bad but didn't know which one to get. This video helped so much and makes it so much easier for me so I'm not always buying new books
I’ve just ordered a kindle and its arriving in a couple of days, thank you for this video as its been really helpful and I feel I know more about the kindle before its even arrived.
How about the sensitivity of the display concerning scratches etc? Do you have a protection shield on it? I heard that the actual generation kindles are more sensitive with scratches than previous kindle generations.
I also love the fact that you can change the font if you have dyslexia plus I wouldn't recommend letting your battery go down past 20% because over time this can actually ware the battery out
I love my kindle paper white, I always do some night reading, just before sleep helps me really relax myself. I am not an audiobook person, I am rather a slow reader, takes about 3 weeks to finish a book, but am okay. While traveling, I read a lot. I just love the kindle.
Bought my first kindle in 2010, a big kindle dx. It still works, though the battery do not last long anymore. And I cannot download or purchase new books on it since it only has a 3g cellumar connection and in my country we are more on 4g and 5g now. My second kindle, the first gen paperwhite, that I bought in 2013 still works, though slow, since it uses wifi. But alas the batteri do not last long on that either, so now I am waiting for my third kindle, the kindle paperwhite signature edition. Hope that this one will also last me ten or more years as well.
Love the no ad version. TIP: If you plan on getting a Kindle case, they have the Kindle Paperwhite Kids. Same kindle + you get the cover and no ads included. Currently on sale for about the same price as the regular paperwhite.
Thanks for sharing! I ordered my first Kindle (paperwhite) becauseof your review. I didn’t like the Kindle because of the the grey brown screens and the lack of color. Oddly enough when you should the black screen with the white treat I was sold! I look forward to setting up all my books and using this devise when I’m at appointments etc.
kindle oasis for the win! pricey true but very premium ! it's the best investment in my entire life, i read SO much ( 210 books this year) and Kindle Unlimited helped me save tons of money !
I'm shocked by the battery life. I'm picking one up tomorrow because I have a 14 hour flight in January and I was wondering if it would last the whole flight. I've never wanted one because I like the physical book but some of the books I read are very long and just a pain to travel with. This should be a great investment
You download them from the kindle book store, digital library like Libby, or Amazon and you click “send to Kindle” - once your kindle is connected to Wi-Fi it will download them!! 🤭
I would totally get a kindle if it didn’t benefit Amazon-they already own the majority of the market share of books by marking down prices so much that indie bookstores can’t compete 🥲. Happy to hear your review though!

I have the 4th generation and I am trading it in with Amazon for the 11th generation one 😂
I'm more obsessed with my kindle than my phone or laptop.
How do you transfer your books from your old kindle to a new one? Thanks 😊📚
How does pdf files look on it?
Where are the books cheaper?
OMG the airplane mode hack for the rented books??? GENIUS

This video convinced me. Gonna buy it now even though the prime sale is near 😭

It’s technically the 2021 edition unless you get the 16gb version that came out in 2022.
Oh oops!! You’re correct 🤭 my bad!
Absolutely love my Kindle!!!! I read so many more books now 😊, it’s so convenient.
Hi! I’m curious on the Libby app. So you have the app on your phone? How does it download onto your kindle? Thanks!
When you click on the book on the phone app, there is a button that says "read on kindle"! Just gotta make sure your kindle is connected to wifi!
Hello, Can I please confirm that you are saying the Libby App works on your kindle?
Thanks Kel
"You can make the fonts as big as you want, to the point you SHOULD BE CONCERNED" LOLLLLL I don't know why it's just so funny to me🤣
Do you have the ad version? Or no ad? Trying to decide which one I want and if the no ad is worth it ☺️
I have the no ad! Would highly recommend it :)
You can also display the book cover when you put your kindle to sleep if you have the no ad version which I absolutely adore! ❤
Love the no ad version. TIP: If you plan on getting a Kindle case, they have the Kindle Paperwhite Kids. Same kindle + you get the cover and no ads included. Currently on sale for about the same price as the regular paperwhite.
Thank you! Trying to figure out what kindle to get. I use Libby.
Do you have a screen protector on it? I have seen no one talk about putting a screen protector on it

What is the battery life like? How many books can it hold on the 8GB?
And I saw Timothy Keller there. Cool! Redeemerite by any chance? ❤

Do you need an actual library card from your local library? Or you just download the app?
Yes you do need an actual library card to use the Libby app!
That looks huge, a lot bigger than the previous Kindle versions.
