Hey Isaac, A little foam cutting secret tool that is awesome. My Dad worked in a furniture factory and had his own reupholstering shop at home our whole lives. He used an electric knife that cuts through foam like butter. Cuts fast and cuts are smooth! No need to use sawing motion, just follow your cut line putting medium pressure on blades. I even stand my foam on it's side and am able to cut through 4" foam with no sweat following cut line. A tool that is worth adding to your collection. :) Hope you will try it. Deb.

Hey Isaac, nice build so far. Just a quick tip for cutting plywood. What I usually do to keep it from chipping when I cut it is to use a metal straight edge and a utility knife to cut through the first layer of wood. It's only important where you're going to see the edge of course. Just a trick I picked up along the way, thought I'd pass it along.

Like #333 love them 3's! If I may interject something here, gas struts do finish as you will be able to use the stronger ones somewhere right? If I were to get the bus, I personally would want the 18 over 24. Company can sleep on the floor on a mat or something if it don't fit. The person living in it get's a bigger bed and still has a couch area. Unless of course you already have a buyer wanting it that way. Just sayin and my 2 cents for the day lol. Good job and we learn from our mistakes! You got this 💜✌

Isaac a serrated electric knife cuts foam beautifully. They are 20 to 30 dollars. It is well worth buying one. Not everyone is 5'8. I would not have let that 4 inches bother me.

Oh there is no comparison for convenience and speed. I thought you might not be using one due to limited electricity. Being on vertically challenged side I would have hated my feet to be dangling . I think most people would have found it very uncomfortable to endure for hours editing videos.

Haven’t read the other comments Incase someone mentions it...put your lock on by putting in one side, connect the two and go over the edge of the loose section with a pencil lead or chalk then shut the door and hopefully the lead/chalk will transfer so you know where to position the second piece of the lock.

Marty Maloney ~ Had to read your comment twice to understand it, but then it made perfect sense. Good suggestion.

looks great Isaac. now that you've gone this far, is there anything different now, how you see things going together, that you would do different? like the ceiling, the flooring, or even the open face shelves?

Actually the more I do the more I love it and may design more busses this way

@@isaacturnerit yeah, a planned design would be a great selling point also. you could also use the same measurements, so you could actually prefab some of it, benches and just cut a notch for the back edge. cabinets too really. i think the more you build, the faster and the better you get.
