I use to poplock and breakdance in 1982-84 and these people on video now are using more advanced styles.Unbelieveable what I'm witnessing at 53yrs old now.
65 years of age May 2nd..... Just did my first bboy battle at the Eagle in Logan Square.... Didn't win but I didn't embarrass myself..... If I can strengthen and gain flexibility I plan to at least learn a few good moves so I can inspire others to follow suit regardless of age..... Perhaps if I'm really gifted with a giant step forward in health I may even inspire fear in my legit adversaries.... Keep breaking til the break of dawn.... And on and on and on...... My first album was Electro 1 by Street Sounds Records (Morgan Khan) I still play it to this day (I’m now 55). 1965-2000 was the best period in musics history and in the uk we had it all but gave the world more.
My original version of this mix got muted after 2 years, so i then uploaded my extended version, then my original version became unmuted, and now my extended version after one year has been muted. But i already had this other copy of my extended version on here aswell but private, so iv now put it public, so we'l see how long this one lasts!

I just about managed the crazy legs and turtle and as for the windmills, offer did it once and couldn't get the hang of it again. Probably break something if I tried now but I do like to dazzle primary school children with some moves.
I could never break dance I tried back in the 80s I have always respected this now accepted as a dance genre like all the old skool ballet, tango, Ballroom tap dance, mambo etc critically with the old Break dance 1 and 2 movies they were trying get breakdancing over as an art no one got on. It back then To me break dancing, body popping, doing the robot is the greatest dance art, technique, and expression your self go with class I respect to all artists and performers even in 2024 They have taken this street art to another level
