- For more than four years, our FALLOUT investigation has uncovered radioactive contamination, cancer, and death in communities that surround the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PORTS), a Cold War-era facility that enriched uranium for America’s atomic weapons nuclear power plants: tinyurl.com/3f...

Who are you going to call? Every branch of the gov. is rotten to the core.
DOGE
We all have plenty of special tools for this exact purpose. It is just people only use them on their "neighbors".
The government never listens because they are never held criminally accountable.
Meanwhile, they continue to vote for deregulation and no oversite.
And, today there was a 3.1 earthquake in this area. Horrible place for toxic waste. Shame on the State of Ohio for selling us out by allowing this here.
Ohio had no say in the establish of the Piketon Uranium Enrichment Plant. It was and is a Federal site.
You get what you allow.
@@rightsdontcomewithpermits7073Piketon leaders fought against it.
@@rightsdontcomewithpermits7073the people didn't allow it, their corporate overlords and greedy politicians did.
The Zahns Corner Middle school nearby made so many children SICK with cancer they closed it down. Unheard of types of cancers!!!
Landfills are not the answer to toxic waste of any kind much less radioactive waste ! Put science to work on this and find a safe alternative !
We don't need no science. We have DOGE😂😂
Hey the stockholders are RICHER THAN RICH that should account for something!? Yesterday there were 2 earthquakes in southern Ohio February 3 2025.
don't worry they are getting rid of the epa and the workers who deal with these problems, so all restrictions are gone really. If nobody's monitoring, it's not a problem, right? Just don't get thirsty.
Pretty sure water filters are $80 at Lowe’s, we need smaller gov not bigger
@ An $80 water filter might remove the taste of iron from your drinking water, allowing you to die from radiation poisoning while sipping better tasting coffee. So yeah, there's that.
@@jerrymeadows5059 is there any proof there is radioactive material in the water supply? Pretty sure it’s different physics entirely than saying pesticides got in the water.
@ I don't know about proof, but I do know that radioactivity doesn't seem to care about its media- water, dirt, whatever. And I do know about history. Both my Father and my older brother worked there, both for about thirty years. My brother Joe started out working in decontamination and although he only worked in that department for about a year, he and literally everyone else in his work crew died of one form of cancer or another. My father had a tech job and usually worked in the same work station and apparently suffered no ill effects, but my point is the A-Plant did not have a good record in protecting its own and it's not unreasonable to think things have gotten better over time and since the half life of plutonium is about 87.7 years maybe we'll know more by the 2160s or so.
@@jerrymeadows5059 well my idea was to actually go in ohio and pour a bunch of faucet water into a jug and test it all for radiation and see what’s up
Hanford, WA checking in
Behind st. Vincent DePaul in Elyria Ohio is a large mountain of dirt. It covers barrels of something I saw buried in 1976
A large hill, anyway.
Was this Gradison’s District? If so, there was a problem with the Radioactivity, going back to the late 80’s.
DOGE cuts will stop this project dead…..Uranium 265 has a half life of 3 million years, btw
Only if there would be tools to use against tyrannical government.😂
There's radioactive dump sites all around this country. There's a huge site on Florida's west coast, near Tampa.
Time to notify the new government about this. I don’t remember voting for this😢
You voted for donald epstein it was all in the project 2025
😂😂😂😂. Yeah. DOGE will fix it all, after removing all the regulations we will have nothing to fear because we will know nothing.😂😂😂
@@rightsdontcomewithpermits7073 You clearly already don't know anything according to your comment.
Only in Ohio
Unfortunately, it's everywhere. And it's getting worse by the minute
Has this been on mainstream news
She's basically saying "Hey, I just want everyone to look at this." She is confident that if people actually look at it, they'll see the danger. Also, I like her shoes.
Don't worry as long as rich people aren't affected, it'll be ok...
Why dont we seal it now 😅😂
Sunlight exposure would work.😮
1:36 Billy's dyed jet black hair at 60 is a disaster.
Call the EPA before they get closed down by Musk
Follow the money of who allowed it.
Yeah cause the EPA has done real good work in the last 5 years lol
Do you want those jobs in those incomes to build up your towns in your personal lives for decades. But now you say, the problem you created should be put on the back of someone out west. I say no. You profited from that for decades, probably into the billions of dollars. Now you live with the clean up yourself and stop shoving This off on the other states other regions of residence. You did this you clean it up in your own backyard
There's no life in Portsmouth.... 😮
What a ridiculous comment. Life is actually a precious thing and those who live in places like Portsmouth and Piketon and Waverly have as much right to it as anyone anywhere. But thanks for posting your irrelevant and mindless insult.
Elon had better get us to Mars soon
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why don't they use islands for toxic waste? I'm sure they people working there live in town so why not strike. Company wouldn't of had workers if they wouldn't of applied. Cant blame the company blame the workers that wants the job
@@Twitchisatrick blame donald epstein deregulations republican stop trying to find hard answers to easy solutions stop voting pedo Don he hates the poor you loves yhe rich Elon epstein
Ohio voted for donald epstein hahahahahaha
