Kaito was literally made for Meiko but they removed the official part of their relationship as the fandom grew and they wanted people to have more flexibility and freedom with the characters. I get why they did it as vocaloids are supposed to be anything you want them to be and not restrained by a relationship but it would've been nice if they remained together cause their so perfect together
