Hi Walaa! A formal validation study of the kinematic outputs using the Ultium Motion system has not been published at this time, but we have conducted internal validations of the hardware components using a rate table and other conditional tests as well as performed concurrent comparisons of the kinematic outputs between the Ultium Motion and Research PRO IMU systems. There have been several validation & reliability studies published using our Research PRO IMU systems, and when it comes to validation against optical motion capture systems, it's really the modeling that is being validated. Modeling is of course influenced by the hardware inputs and we have seen significant improvements in our outputs (i.e. kinematics) using the Ultium Motion system, so we are confident in its accuracy and reliability. Nevertheless, we are eager to have a formal 3rd party validation completed. Hopefully the opportunity will arise soon, but we have to be cognizant of how the COVID situation continues to play out and its effect on lab accessibility.
