    Hello
    Here we are
The idea that Paul is redefining the Shema as talking about two people “and that’s just what you do” is not a good argument at
If Paul were walking into synagogues saying the Shema is about two people they probably never would’ve listened to him
    One God, the Father
    Period
    Not one God, three persons
    Not one God, two persons
    It’s just not what’s happening
Look at James Dunn on this
Notice Wright won’t say “God the Son”
He says God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ
Only one of them is God
And the Shema is only about God
It’s almost as of Wright isn’t trinitarian
I don’t recall him saying things like God is three persons or anything like that
It’s more like it’s just a group of 3, one is God
God the Father, the Lord Jesus the Messiah, and God’s spirit
But the idea that the Shema is about two people is just not good
    See Dunn and others

you still do not get what is being claimed and what not is being claimed. David Capes not caps as the person introducing him says Capes is a long A not a short A sound. But this video David builds to the Shema passage which Wright refers to. So you may want to carefully consider this teahing by David Capes seen here:

      Hello
      Mark 12
28 And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the first of all?” 29 Jesus answered, “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one; 30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” 32 And the scribe said to him, “You are right, Teacher; you have truly said that he is one, and there is no other but he; 33 and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” 34 And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And after that no one dared to ask him any question.
This scribe doesn’t think the Shema is about two people
      Jesus agrees with him
Are you claiming this scribe and Jesus think the Shema is about more than one person?

Dr. Capes' lecture dos not go into detail on why Paul does not speak of God the Son or God as both Father and Son/Lord. It could be said he was still startled by what he thought was a mystery at the time, and that he would readily accept Arian's heresy, for example. Jesus the Lord could be seen simply as an instrument of creation or an emanation in the neoplatonic sense, the firstborn of Creation, but still born. If he had something like the trinitarian or even binitarian concept of God in mind, why not speak of both as God? I get "theos" didn't have in that polytheistic world the weight it has now, but he still seems to use it as a special title. Is it to avoid scandal and respect his audiences' sensitivities? But a Messiah crucified is almost as scandalous, and he rejoiced it and proclaimed it.

Yahweh is Lord and Jesus is Lord SIMPLY because Jesus is God the Father (Lord) in the flesh 1Tim.3:16 N T Wright is a false teacher because He makes Jesus ''another person'' ??? Two Lords ??? He clearly rejects the true Jesus who is THE LORD Yahweh our Father in bodily form.
1Tim3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

The Hebrew text in psalm 8 is saying '' Oh Yahweh our Adonai '' so Yahweh and Jesus are call ADONAI or LORD BECAUSE they are the same one. Jesus even say He is I AM . The trinity of three different beings is not a biblical concept at all.
