I need a new channel banner, someone please make me one For those who don't get the premise of this video, these are plays that would only happen "one in a million" times, "one in a million" is sort-of a figure of speech to mean something that is really rare or that wouldn't really happen again if you repeated it "a million times"
At 5:10 You can see Bailey realize no one touched that kick but also know he's gotta not react until the other team turns away. It's clear from his body language/tensing up. Just amazingly well played.
It's so frequently such a thankless job, I really love watching defensive linemen grabbing a fumble or making an interception and making their way to the end zone. As an announcer, John Madden used to do a GREAT job of pointing out the blocks and strategy of the linemen. Offense and defense.
You missed another crazy Saints play. 2009 against the Redskins. Brees and under pressure and scrambling to not get sacked. He throws the ball into double coverage and it gets intercepted. They are running it back trying for a TD and Meachem somehow gets past the blockers to the ball carrier and strips the ball from him and proceeds to run it in for a TD. Crazy play!
I remember watching that Browns v.s Ravens game with my dad. It was a Sunday Night game and we went nuts when they ruled it a good field goal. I miss watching Browns games with him and I smile every time I see that highlight because it takes me back to that night. RIP Pops!
This is a great compilation, one of the best I've seen on RUclips cuz it covers all eras but I got to point out I think Jim Marshall running the wrong way 70 + yards for safety should be on this list lol
12:58 Tom Brady standing in background after congratulations to Flutie. Yes that was Fluties last game, what a way to go out, one last memorable moment from Flutie.
That play the Saints pulled against the Jaguars was miraculous and definitely 1 in a million, but it should be 1 in a BILLION if it's extended and you watch John Carney miss the extra point with 0:00 on the clock and they still lose the game somehow. Such an amazing heartbreak.
Great channel Mr Brick, excellent compilations therefore I'm happily subscribing mate, cheers peace and regards from Australia. PS LOVE your NCAA and NFL its the bomb, outstanding athletes & great crowds WOW I cant get enough, the speed, skill and toughness is superb. We Aussies love yall America!
9:48 I'll never forget watching that game with my grandpa and jumping out of our chairs when the Saints scored on that crazy play with 7 seconds left......and then the kicker missed the extra point and we didn't make the playoffs. It was tough to be a fan back in those days but I'm proud to say I was watching them BEFORE they won a super bowl.
When it looks like an incomplete pass to everyone except the guy who caught it, I wouldn't expect to immediately be pursuing him. Just like the next play nobody on the defense thought it was a catch and he basically walked in
@Luke Skyballer please explain to me what the color of my skin has to do with anything. You sound like a total idiot. I get 9 likes are you’re very odd question. Manning to Harrison was unstoppable for years also. Because I acknowledge that am I mixed now? You might be the stupidest person I’ve ever encountered on social media. Trying to make every thing about race. Race doesn’t matter.
Wat a way for flutty to finish his last game @ NE, he did a risky play that was executed to perfection even bellich smiled @ it, the nfl will never see another one the likes of flutty again, Icon/legend/Boss.
I hate watching the Saints miracle lateral play just knowing that carney blew the PAT. I could watch Favres horrible playoff ints easier. Damn u brent favor!
John Berg I was watching that game and it went from everybody screaming and cheering to dead silence in our house when he missed that kick. Probably the most unforgettable moment of football I've ever witnessed. Of all the kicks to miss!
The best of all time was NY Giants Manning to Tyree helmet catch in Super Bowl XLII, dubbed “The Catch” in their win the Patriots, and wasn’t even on the list.
I need a new channel banner, someone please make me one For those who don't get the premise of this video, these are plays that would only happen "one in a million" times, "one in a million" is sort-of a figure of speech to mean something that is really rare or that wouldn't really happen again if you repeated it "a million times"
Im 55 now and I remember a good number of these games and I wonder how the hell we ever lived without hi def tv lol. Hurts my eyes just to watch those old, some less than 20 years, clips
Josh Park football is a complicated sport and can there are many different types of plays, plus theres been somewhere around 1.5-2 million plays in nfl history.
Savage Brick Sports There are many different ways a play can be spectacular. Even what appears to be a routine 5 yard run up the middle can be a special play if it enables a team to run out the clock. It is a great ride of emotions when your team seems to be out of it, then all the sudden snatches victory from the jaws of defeat. I appreciate the video. It does show some unique plays.
I agree with that one you cannot go any further you can tie it but you can't go more than 109 yds so you're right should be in there I don't know yet about the other ones though
If Russell doesn't throw it where the defender had a chance to pick it off they score and nobody ever questions the call. Blame Russell Wilson not the coach.
2:20 announcers just don't get hyped like this anymore. I love the energy and how they actually seem to enjoy the moment as much as everyone else watching.
What's so rare about an interception at the goal line? Also didn't include jermaine Kearse because it wasn't rare enough. The helmet catch I thought about adding but I decided not to add it in the end,p.
As long as the ball is behind the line of scrimmage backwards laterals that should not be in that because we've seen several plays just like that in football everybody has those plays in their playbook
You can only pass forward once and you have to be behind the line of scrimmage. you can pass backwards as many times as you want. The QB could pass it back to a running back and then the back could throw the ball down field if he wanted to.

"He did what?" and "Do you believe in miracles?", Al Michaels has made some timeless calls.

After further review, that was one hell of a catch.
1:53 Emaculent Reception version 2.0
At 5:10 You can see Bailey realize no one touched that kick but also know he's gotta not react until the other team turns away. It's clear from his body language/tensing up. Just amazingly well played.
Yeah, it's almost as if he puts his hands up like why isn't anybody doing anything but puts them down before anyone notices
Did anyone notice the offensive unit for the Rams was coming on the field at the 20 yard Lind. Play should have been dead !! To many men on the field.
Funniest part about that Saints play at 9:53 is that the kicker missed the game tying extra point and so the play was worthless. They still lost.
stonecoldku Imagine how much shit he got for that 😂😂
and a missed block in the back call would of removed the touchdown anyway
Shut up don’t mention it lol
they got rid of him in that offseason
Exactly! I was just about to roast him for not putting that part of the game in the video when I saw your comment.
Nfl just tagged ur vid on community
Been looking for that Rams-Saints return at 4:28 for years. Everyone, even the announcers were dead asleep.
You know that game was old asf when they said " The Bears destroyed Washington 73 to nothing ".
Still the biggest blowout in NFL history, and it was a championship game to add to the craziness of it.
And earlier in the season, The Redskins defeated the Bears, 7-3
Iyanna D I bet they can do it again this season to
no chance
Yes chance ;)
It's so frequently such a thankless job, I really love watching defensive linemen grabbing a fumble or making an interception and making their way to the end zone. As an announcer, John Madden used to do a GREAT job of pointing out the blocks and strategy of the linemen. Offense and defense.

"Immaculate reception"
Great commentating right there
Really makes you appreciate HD football when it switches from the 90s to 00's

yeah i didnt include that because i could think of about 5 of those types of plays (double turnovers for touchdowns), I appreciate your comment though
RogunK what about the dan Connolly kick return
Whoa!!! Is there a video?
As a Washington fan... that play still gives me nightmares... also, I swear it wasn't an interception!
Shame that those Saints went on to put a bounty out on Favre.
I remember watching that Browns v.s Ravens game with my dad. It was a Sunday Night game and we went nuts when they ruled it a good field goal. I miss watching Browns games with him and I smile every time I see that highlight because it takes me back to that night. RIP Pops!
How about the one in a billion plays... cardinals vs seahawks 6-6 ties and both miss close field goals in ot
That was Cards vs Seahawks. Painful to watch.
Fred Latchaw thanks I fixed it

Malachi Mendez it was a tie
Kim M the 2nd game
Awesome video! I like that you show the extended clips of each, I appreciate it.

This is a great compilation, one of the best I've seen on RUclips cuz it covers all eras but I got to point out I think Jim Marshall running the wrong way 70 + yards for safety should be on this list lol
That Cleveland FG was crazy...
12:58 Tom Brady standing in background after congratulations to Flutie. Yes that was Fluties last game, what a way to go out, one last memorable moment from Flutie.
You make some of the greatest compilations I've seen. You'll grow your channel if you keep this up 👍
3 yr old drumer
Mike Hunter what?
That Robert Meachem play looks like something that would happen in Madden when the game utterly refuses to let you make a defensive stop.
That play the Saints pulled against the Jaguars was miraculous and definitely 1 in a million, but it should be 1 in a BILLION if it's extended and you watch John Carney miss the extra point with 0:00 on the clock and they still lose the game somehow. Such an amazing heartbreak.
That dropkick “last hurrah” at the end was just so wholesome

10:28 with the music and Berman on the highlights. This is the ESPN I miss. Made every game feel so important and exciting.

Yesss .....
12:00. Refs be like “the receiver did not maintain possession”
Honestly, fuck today's officiating
Dude, you dug deep for this list! Well done!!
The 2nd one with greenbay still pisses me off. It looks like they put in no effort to catch him and one guy was pretty much guaranteed a tackle.....
max deem the offense was trying to tackle him and they probably thought it wasn't intercepted
When it looks like an incomplete pass to everyone except the guy who caught it, I wouldn't expect to immediately be pursuing him. Just like the next play nobody on the defense thought it was a catch and he basically walked in
max deem agree green bay shoulda tackled him
max deem your right, are you a Green Bay Packers fan?
That play actually won me $ seeing that I took GB giving the Vikes 5.5 to win and that catch won the game in OT. I hate GB but love $.
Bear Down.
This was a great video compilation!
I’ve never liked the patriots, but Brady to Edelman was unstoppable for quite a few years. Tons of respect for those two.
@Luke Skyballer I’m purple. What the hell does it matter that color I am?
@Luke Skyballer please explain to me what the color of my skin has to do with anything. You sound like a total idiot. I get 9 likes are you’re very odd question. @@suckitdx Unlike the receivers the patriots are stuck with now who can't catch for crap, and can't run routes.
8:53 the only time you will see a browns player happy

2020 Browns will like to have a word with you
2020 browns made it too the divisional round.
Love this channel. Not the quality of Joseph Vincent but no one is, this is my second favorite channel.
Edelman...... "I Caught It!!! I Caught it!" Hahah that was a great moment in patriots football for sure!
12:39. Wtf... Glitch in the Matrix.
Excuse me, can u explain me in simple words what is the point of last video? My english is bad )
Anthon Sahrahninn the player dropped the ball down and it bounced back up, and then he kicked for a score, that play hadn’t happened in 60 years
Glitch in the matrix was meant to highlight the fact that Bill Belichick smiled.
Bill belicheck was finally smiling
Great stuff thanks for posting

Just when you think he runs out of ideas, he comes up with a cool video like this 😄😄SBS you rock dude
0:32 i never realized there was an angle where you could actually see the catch until now wow
That was fun watching. Thanks for the compilation and the smiles. Xmas morning '21
What about a one on a billion play, the *_Seahawks not running the ball_*
No that makes more sense than the Colts fake punt play.
One in a billion plays? How about the Bears making a super bowl wining touchdown
@@JonChenTS13 what are you talking about the Bears super bowl winning TD?
What are you talking about EganTheMan
@@itsthekid9815 I agree
This entire video was worth seeing Franco Harris play as a rookie!!
10:00 LOL Saints missed the extra point, miss the playoffs! =/

Where the heck is David Tyrees helmet catch at and tony Dorset’s “99” yard run

In the NFL, there have been a total of 13. million plays
It is stuff like this is one of the reasons why college and pro sports can be so much fun, if we allow it to be fun for us.
Thanks for sharing this.
12:10 "73 to nothing"
jesus fuck
Randy Slater yup
That Flutie play tops the list.
10:19 What a play to keep your season alive. They would fail to convert the extra point and not make the playoffs.
1:50, I have to admit, that was a miraculous catch!
Antonio Cromartie's 109-yard missed field goal return should be in here. His foot was literally inches from the back of the endzone.
I agree with that one you cannot go any further you can tie it but you can't go more than 109 yds so you're right should be in there I don't know yet about the other ones though
This is a great video and these are a few lucky plays in sports
you should add the saint’s butt catch from 12/24/17
I love u man you make the best highlights Hope you get 1 million soon
12:38 did I just see Bill Belichick smiling??🧐
I was thinking the same thing. And Patriots win the super bowl. Lol
GREAT stuff!! Loved this video!!!
Damn. It was seven times. Clutch counting lol
You're making some truly awesome videos.
You forgot the play where the Seahawks call a slant pass instead of winning the super bowl. That's a one in a million bad call.
No you are just wrong. The colt fake punt is so bad that nothing can touch it.
Much as I am a Seahawks fan that one hurt I was disgusted with that game
If Russell doesn't throw it where the defender had a chance to pick it off they score and nobody ever questions the call. Blame Russell Wilson not the coach.
@@austin31bennett
Responsibility ultimately rests with whoever called the play, not the man who tried to execute it.
Nick Saban says hold my beer. Fake FG run lol.
Great video dude
9:53 This is a prime example why I would go for 2 to try to get the win every time and not rely on a kicker to tie it. More coaches should do that.
Flutie, best clip.
"I wonder if the Edelman catch is in h- there it is"
You just earned a sub ma dude
Add the saints vs Vikings 2018 divisional playoffs
AMEN...END ZONE UNTOUCHED I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO BE A FLY ON THE WALL IN THE LOCKER ROOM LOL
And the jags vs Steelers game in 18
Need to include the kick-off immediately after the butt-fumble touchdown for an amazing 1 in a million play from Nov 22 2012 Pats vs. Jets
Edelman’s catch still gives me chills. #PatsNation
Nice
Nice video Bro I love your channel
How is Jermaine Kearse's super bowl catch not in this video
Bobby Clark my friends cousin is kearse
Maybe because it was all but negated because Carroll didn't run the ball.

Nicholas Gordon you’re right; that’s one reason I don’t care to watch football games any more!
@@McIntyreBible I'm with you brother. After the 90's, announcers just got really dull.
Nicholas Gordon now, it’s almost like watching a news cast or something!
@@McIntyreBible so true. At least we have Al Michaels and Tony Romo. They both are pretty energetic.
Sb 42? Helmet catch? Or SB 49 the kearse catch? The malcolm Butler interception was pretty rare as well.

Helmet catch wasnt anything special
I remember seeing robert woods do it with one hand while tip toeing down the sideline
