Great video they keep getting better and better. Wish you would talk a little about the bag limits and are y’all in programs were you get extra buck tags .
Couldn’t not find another way to check on you all, but I hope you and your families are ok after those storms. Take care be safe and praying for you all.
Last big horned deer I harvested scored 165. He was in my front yard on a Sunday morning chasing does. I went out the back door (in my underwear) peeped around my house and took him. My wife did not like the 30-06 alarm clock. God bless
Great buck Jason, yalls management program is definitely paying off. Those 10s are hard to let walk, but it will pay off big time. God bless and see yall next time
Great buck Jason and congratulations. 👍 I watch your videos so often, that when my wife walks in, she whispers real low, Morning everybody, Jason, Hollis Farms, locked and loaded. 😁 Keep up the great videos.
Glad to see that ya connected on another DANDY! Congrats!!!! Your management decisions, are OBVIOUSLY working no doubt! The proofs in the pud'n as some would say.🤗 Great job all the way around, and Best of luck on the next one! God Bless all!!!!👍🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏
I understand what you are trying to achieve and it’s a long road. It’s hard to grow 150”plus deer but it can be done. I really admire you for being patient and letting them grow. I only wish I had a place like you do to try and get the results y’all are getting. Enjoyed the video. Y’all have a good-un.
It’s definitely getting good we had a real good weekend this past weekend and we just a few miles south of y’all. Even got to see smoke do his thing again
That was a pretty shot. Sure be nice to get some of those Canadian fatties genes in your herd. Big ol 300 pounder make a lot of summer sausage !! A Very Merry Christmas to you and your Family Jason !
I used to get so frustrated when you would pass up a big hoss ..but after years of watching you I completely understand what you are going after. It's more about the management aspect of it for you. I'd say a lot of us understand what you're doing.
Yall do an awesome job of managing your deer the right way. And it really shows jason. Quality Deer Management at its finest right here folks. It definitely pays off in the long run.
Nice shot!!!! Great job on tracking your team is coming along in a big way, sounds like you have a great plan for future Bucks and it will work !!!!! Enjoyed that thank you for sharing check on you all tomorrow have a great day!!!
Heck yeah fine 8 point!! Completely understand yalls management..it’s nice y’all have enough dirt to be able to grow dirt and let nice deer walk. Congrats on another one.
Man what a crown on his head when he came out of the brush never will understand how them things can take a shot like that and pack it off like that woo hooo
Sweet buck. Congrats! I remember him from last year. It is hard to get some people to manage the deer on their property properly. I was talking to my uncle last month about the deer on his place and I said I think he needs to take out a few doe's because there are a lot of them, and instead of him taking out a nice young doe or an old doe he shot one that we know is going on 4 years old and has dropped twin bucks two years in a row. lol. It's his property so he can do as he wants, but I couldn't help but ask him what in the world were you thinking, and I said taking that doe out would have never even crossed my mind because she is the type you want. lol. I don't think he was thinking at all. lol.
PJ and Bo are turning into some dandy hunters! Foxies are born for it, no matter what the game. That was a good shot placement on that buck. Nicely done mate. Pulling a trigger on anything that moves is pretty easy to do. Holding off and letting them walk is a lot harder, until you begin to see the results from letting the right ones breed on. You're doing it right as far as I can tell.
Congrats on a fine deer. Keep on doing what you are doing and you will continue to produce some of the best deer for your area. Just my thoughts on management is to let your 10 points and up live to at least 5 years of age to hopefully reach their maximum size before taking them out, This may be your goal already. You are doing a great job.
Jason I’m no Hunter but keep doing what you are doing you have way more insight than most do. Definitely don’t want to push the good ones off somewhere else they won’t last and definitely won’t get taken care of as well!🫵👍👍👍👍👍

If you don’t let em go they sure won’t grow, the older 8s and 9s are always a good choice in the long run.
👍🏻
Makes sense to me
👍🏻
I'm from North central IN we have 165-180s up here I get what ur saying tho
👍🏻

Have you any type of scent control that you do
Play the wind

Very nice bud! Nice buck!
Take care and stay safe! God bless! Merry Christmas to you and all your family!🙏✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks
Nice buck 👍. Are these deer offspring of the deer you used to raise. Do you do a doe hunt to keep your buck to doe ratio in check
Thanks. No
You also need to check and thin out the doe population.
Not all about the does
Congrats on a fine deer. Keep on doing what you are doing and you will continue to produce some of the best deer for your area.
