- Whoops! that didn't go as planned! A simple unboxing and pre-check video of our new Kayak turned into a small drama. Whilst tightening some screws after delivery one of the brass insert nuts falls into the hull. All good just slowed down the process a bit. Nothing some marine Sikaflex can't fix. Once that was done, I installed the rudder to the hull and rig up the control lines. It's a nice-looking Yak and can't wait to test it out!
Thank you for the video. I received mine today and it does help alot especially the rudder instruction.
Ordered one today...grateful for the video.
Thank you for the rudder set up demo. I had a devil of a time setting mine up and it still isn't right. I went a whole season without a rudder. I'll adjust it according to your demo.
No worries, hope it works well for you. The rudder works great in strong winds and current I found. Cheers
Mate you are a beauty . Thank you for making this video you have done me a service ,I just bought on ❤
Glad I could help
cheers for video picking up my kayak soon and this info will be very helpful
That's good, hopefully it all goes together well for you.
Thanks for the video, also.
I just bought one today, fiddled with the rudder a bit, it is a different style to yours, it does not retract into the top of the yak groove, it on ly folds straight up, I dont like that, all else is good.
Great video mate, I am looking into buying the MKII so this is extremely helpful, hope your still happy with them ? Liked and subbed cheers.
There still going ok, one of them was sent with the "new style paddle" which is a bit shorter than the other one and sucks a bit but other than that they seem good. Cheers
@@coasttocountryaustralia thx for the prompt reply mate cheers!!!
awesome vid, helped me alot, cheers
I just bought the Nextgen mk10v2- but no official assembly instructions really suck- the boys at kayak Wetherill Park- will be hearing about it. I can't understand why they did not invest in a short video and not rely on others to post their personal experiences in assembling the kayak.
