- The Day When 16 Years Old Melanie Parra Shocked the World !!! Melanie Guadalupe Parra Quintero (born 12 September 2002) is a Mexican volleyball player. She played at the 2019 FIVB U20 Women's World Championship,and 2018 FIVB Women's World Championship. She played for Sinaloa. Bronze medalist at the 2016 U18 NORCECA Volleyball Championship in Puerto Rico…led the Mexican National Team to a first-place finish in its pool at the 2017 NORCECA Volleyball Championship…member of the senior Mexican National Team that competed at the 2018 FIVB World Championship…helped the Mexican National Team to a fourth-place finish at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games.

She's in University of Texas right now, and she's now 19 years old and her position in their team was still an outside hitter, however, she's not a 6 rotation player. She is one of the very dangerous server in the service line in the NCAA.
She was not a 6 rotation player cause she was robbed at that place. Texas and Elliot wasted her potential and time for 3 years, clearly she was being discriminated. Luckily she is out of that place now.
@@sarahiOll14 You are correct. In my opinion, Texas prioritized SIZE over SKILL/TALENT. Who knows, they might have won the championship with her as a starter as well? But now, she is TCU's #1 starting OH, on a tear, breaking records, thriving there... meanwhile, defending champions Texas are in melt-down mode. Talk about poetic justice, of the best kind. 🤣🤣

She just turned 21 now at TCUckilling it…one of the best OH’s in the country…glad she’s finally getting a chance to shine
So glad she entered the transfer portal. Texas never really valued her for more than her serve. She has so much talent. She should be starting somewhere.
