New volcanic eruption started here in Iceland at 12:46, 29th May 2024. I did a drone live stream from the area where we documented the progression of the volcano eruption by Sundhnuksgigar

Here are some long static clips of the lava river that we saw during the live stream yesterday, I hope you guys enjoy it🌋
Thank you for posting this. It is absolutely stunning to hear the sound of the lava and to watch it with no voice over or music. Lava is so fascinating to watch.
thank you. it's mesmerizing.
what did you use for the soundscape?
What sort of scale are we seeing here? How wide roughly is the main fast flow?
It's hypnotic, you can't stop watching it. So beautiful and terrifying at the same time.
Thanks Isak for the great cinematography, and for giving us some long “stares” in one spot so we can see the minute changes that happen. Nature is awesome.
There is something soothing relaxing and hypnotic about watching this 😳🤔🔥
Beautiful, well done, one the best footage showing the complexity of a lava field (overflowing tubes, remelted border etc) Great job !!
The speed of it is unreal
Mesmerizing. I could loop this for sleep music😴.
Riveting, hypnotic, swift-flowing, crumbling, melting, devouring, sluggish, reshaping, rechanneling. "So beautiful and so dangerous!" Absolutely beautiful, fascinating, and entrancing, Isak: wow!
And sooo fluid
Could watch this all day ❤
I still can’t believe how FAST it’s flowing this time! I love watching how the flow keeps altering its course.
outstanding footage ,it was mesmerizing ,thanks Isak you always deliver the goods when you stream
Great video! So much going on in this video you could watch endlessly on a loop and still focus on different details.
The lava flow is unbelievably fast! Wow! Thank you for the beautiful footage!
Back when I was a radio DJ, one of the stations had the slogan, "Hot Rockin', and Flame Throwin'" This reminds me of the literal interpretation of that. :)
Amazing the speed, the viscosity must be fairly low to flow like that.
Great to see it up close, wonderful so fast, thanks Isak❤
The viscosity of that lava flow in the beginning is almost like water
Thank you isak, awesome footage😊
Our planet's lifeblood. Awe-inspiring footage, Isak - thank you 🌋
Thank you so much!
Well I hate to burst your bubble but in REALITY we actually live in the THIRD DIMENSION FLAT EARTH REALM.😊
Thank you Izak: incredible clips.
Amazing footage Isak,
I still can't fully comprehend that what we're seeing is liquid rock. Something so solid , shouldn't flow like that. It's truly mind blowing. 🤯
Thank you so much for videoing & sharing this moment with us. 👍
Fantastic! A bit hypnotic!😮
Absolutely spectacular footage!
Wonderful video footage! Thanks for sharing! 😊
I LOVE the sound!!! A witch's cauldron if I ever heard one!!!!
beautiful
Thank you for this great footage!!! Nature is so amazing!!! So beautiful yet so destructive.
Oooooh - love the night shots. Nature is a powerhouse!
Awesome video Isak. Who knew lava could flow that fast. Congratulations on getting over 50,000 subscribers!!
This is amazing footage Isak ❤ Totally mesmering , Beautiful Thank you from UK 😮
Thanks Isak for this beautiful vid. It's really impressive!
Thank you. Beautiful cinematography!🇮🇸🇮🇸🇮🇸
I could totally watch this one spot for hours. Love seeing the collapsing and the changes in the landscape. That sound is also so calming. Thanks for the footage.
Mind Bending.
Did anyone else feel that this week's lava was more runny than the previous eruptions? Or maybe it's just because it was crammed into narrower but more visible channels.
That's great Isak and that lava is flowing pretty fast.😊😀😃👍
Thank you Isak, hopefully this can help to buy more drone batteries so you can film for longer.
Keep up the great work you are doing informing us all about your beautiful island Iceland.👍
I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E. Mesmerizing. Thank you!
Thank you Isak
Amazing nature. So much power.
thanks, Isak, for this mesmerizing video. Great photography and I like that you dwelled on jsutone spot for a long time. I also appreciate that there's no music or even voice-overs. Just the grand sounds of nature.
Incredible ✌🏻
The most fascinating and beautiful footage I have seen.
Epic
Stunning
Mesmerising. Thanks.
Why is it that the sound is so fascinating 😮
Oh yes, we enjoy it! What a great evening again yesterday, these scenes here alone! Thank you very much! Sad about the evil weather tonight.
Lava flowing at this speed is amazing and terrifying at the same time. Its extremely low viscosity caused by a very low silica content, is the reason for such high flowing speed, especially on steep slopes. I can only compare it with the Leilani eruption on Hawaii. The lava created a damn on both sides, crossing a street and the flow speed looked like that of a water torrent! Thank you Isak for serving us such amazing drone videos 👍🌋🇮🇸
Lavalicious
Art ❤
Very cool
It looks and sounds alien.
I’ve never seen lava that moved at such an incredible rate of speed 😳
It's SO FAST this time! WOW!
wow the speed of it wow.
Wow!
Amazing to watch. Fun to try to predict which part will be "eaten" by the flow.
The sound is so soothing
The speed of the lava flow is mind boggling. Thank you for the amazing footage as always
Awesome video clips of the fast lava flows. Would be nice to include the GPS location for these.
You can see it deforming before the onslaught of the faster moving lava … it’s the very force of nature.
So I know real sound can't be used by drones because of the rotor noise, so here's my best guess at how to reproduce the sounds. 1. Boiling spaghetti sauce. 2. Hanging a mike outside your window on a windy day. 3. A car with a quiet engine slowly driving on a gravel road. 4. More spaghetti sauce. That should do it! Imma try it myself!
🎉that is so fast 🎉
Incredible molten "waterfall"!
If it were not for those side veins of lava also showing in the shot, many people would probably think that this video was being played back on fast forward.
About how wide was that river?
I'm struggling to understand where the shear volume of flow is going? The input from the top of the frame seems to massively exceed the output at the bottom. Did the quakes and eruption create collateral voids?
👍👍
Liquid rock, incredible to know this is what the Earth does naturally.
Is the sound real by the way?
Any idea of the surface we are watching, I miss a sense of scale to figure this out.
Any guess how much of the lava lake would escape if the upper portion remelt continues at this scale?
Looks more like Hydraulic Fluid or molten steel flowing in a foundry .
I bet the land around that area would feel like Jello sorta like being in deep water in a small boat .
This eruption also looked deeper Red instead of some of the white hot action .
I really feel like some Tigertail ice cream for some reason.
Please show us from where all this lava comes
The flow like water, so liquified. I wonder what is the composition of the lava?
Its simply liquid rock
@gabapc no its combination of different materials like minerals. Not sure but sometimes diamonds are form inside a volcano
the sound is like the same from terminator 2 at the end.
I'm looking at this, and my brain is just making up numbers for scale.
Is the audio actually what you captured during the filming, or did you add it later?
It is unlikely that it's audio from filming. Most drones don't have any kind of microphone because the rotors would overwhelm any outside audio.
He added it. Lava flowing actually sounds like breaking glass.
I wish they could insert with the computer a man standing there so we have an idea or even a car anything that we would have an idea as a immensity of this thing
Acid reflux commercial
i wish this was 6 hours, not 6 minutes
The thin streams look like snake skin moving rapidly!!!
Gloopy...
There's a limit to where all this crap can go.. and thats scary
The energy from the solar storm impact is in the lava changing its viscosity is my guess
