I think because she is the oldest and has ran through the longest relationship of trying to care and change someone, and watching her younger sisters go down that path. It’s not about having more “sense” it’s just she has been through it and watching her family go through it too. My eldest sister brings light like this to us younger siblings like this all the time
Kris doesn't want the therapy talk because SHE was the cheater - she cheated on Robert Kardashian Sr. and she doesn't like getting called out for that. She does seem to empathize more with cheaters than with the people who were the actual victims of the cheating.

Kris and kim hate her the most it's cause she doesn't want this LIEstyle she never did. They especially got more mad at her cause she wasn't showing much of her life and it's cause they knew if kourt stopped then their would only be kim and khloe left.
I’m happy for Kourtney for continuing her education she has a backup plan as well and can survive in the real world. If she wants to work in a regular job she has a bachelors.

They’re tired of her signing the contract and pocketing the money while not wanting to film and then Kim and khloe have to pick up Kourtney’s slack. Kourtney is bit of a hypocrite. Shes been saying for years that she doesn’t want to be the show anymore, yet she continues to sign the contract. She’s in her mid 40s. No one is forcing her to be on the show.

I love Kourtney and how insightful she is. She is definitely the only Kardashian I genuinely like. She has her flaws, of course, but she seems the most human out of all of them. Also, it annoys me how Kris has always teared Kourtney down because Kris has guilt and regret of her own actions. This is also why I think Kim hasn’t liked Kourtney, because Kim wants to act like Kris and they don’t want to be decent human beings. They just want money and power. I applaud Kourtney for being as strong as she is to deal with her family.
Your observation is spot on, Kourtney has been the 'fly on the wall' most people think that she's lazy and riding on her sister's coattails however I think she's just been surviving quietly by giving them enough support and creating her own safe world for her and her children to thrive in.

I remember YEARS ago kourtney was trying to admit on the show just how badly her parents failed relationship affected her and how it scared her regarding knowing how to deal with scott. I'm glad she her support system has expanded and she has travis to be able to talk more mindfully about things including therapy. The immediate family still has the tendency to very dismissive of it which is sad. (Although I do remember khloe used to at least try to comfort kourtney, even though she didn't understand what she was going through emotionally...but thats since changed. Khloe's hardened up and seems just as closed off as the rest of the fam)

It sounds like what I’m saying is “ I’m perfect and my family is not wah wah wah “ but genuinely, my nephew and I are the ones who try our best not to be like our family. The difference between my nephew and I is that he is super loved by everyone in our family because he is the first grandchild and he is the one who made my sister and I aunties. Aaand, nobody has even liked me lol since I was a child, they always sided with my sister who is 10 years older than me simply because she was older and she was the favorite, and then when my nephew was born they sided with him because he was the younger one. In other words, they have always preferred everyone else over me. I see the pain that they cause eachother themselves me and their partners, and I stray away from that behavior. But unlike my nephew, I call them out. And that’s what they don’t like. And this isn’t me being against my nephew by the way, we are so close that to me he is my baby brother ( I’m 22 he is 16 ), always has been my baby brother and always will be. He is the perfect nephew and he doesn’t do anything wrong. But everyone else.., yikes dude. I resonate with kourtney a lot because I am the kourtney of the family. I wonder if her “fabulous life” includes: her lying about her age to date an older man, her mother being ok with this because she was with men as a minor herself, her infidelities, her failed marriages, or the fact that she was married to a man that so desperately wanted to be a woman for years…. OR her trying to convince her daughter to stay in a toxic relationship with her baby-daddy KNOWING all of the repeated abuse she’s endured because of him…For your sake and your children’s, why not go to therapy? Clearly she doesn’t want the light being shone on her. VERY obvious.
She would unravel. The fabulous life she speaks of was partially created by subjecting her children to immense pain. I really admire some qualities Kris possesses, but her children are traumatized. I think Kris probably is too, but she’s pacified that pain the wealth, power, and glamour she’s amassed. Hey, if she’s superficially happy, maybe it’s for the best that she doesn’t go to therapy. Unpacking her own life and confronting the pain she’s caused her kids could possibly lead to a bout of depression and it may be in her best interest to keep that can of worms closed and remain in denial. That’s a form of self protection. But she should honor the hurt and pain her children have endured at her hands.They deserve that validation.

Its obvious how utterly dysfunctional all of their relationships are. There are many causes, but one that irks me the most is how Kris always "glosses" over Unforgivable betrayals. She taught Khloe to spew that "ridiculous/cringe-worthy" talk about forgiveness etc., and allow outrageous and abhorrent behavior... Its all so Yucky... Unlike the rest of the siblings, Kourtney remembers the affair, when they were kids - and the guy, his name was Todd... Kourtney is the oldest one, many seems to forget that. Kris doesn't want to talk to Kourt about it, and she and Khloe thinks Kourt is waaayy too hard on Kris, when she wants to meet with this Todd guy again on KUWTK.... Kourtney has never forgiven her mother of cheating on her dad, I don't blame her.
I sometimes think they prioritise each other above their partners . In my opinion once you are married the couple must make their own decisions independent of their family whereas with them it’s almost like the whole family is involved in the couples daily lives. That sometimes I think can cause problems.
I agree and I would also add that this is the reason why the sisters and Kris are mad at Kourt, because she imposes limits on the relationship and knows how to separate, before she told her sisters everything about what was happening with Scott, and it ended up that everyone minded felt entitled to interfere. But from the moment she entered therapy she saw that this wasn't healthy and that it's okay if you don't let your family interfere in your life all the time.
a great example is kris and khkoe making a drama about kourt announcing her pregnancy to the world, something that was supposed to be important for travis and kourt when it turned into a drama because khloe wanted her to wait because she It was supposed to be done in a city where she could be, Kris was upset since she already knew about the pregnancy and Kourt even made a special surprise for her and her sisters too.

They pick based on which guy is richest or most famous instead of which guy has decency and treats them well. If they start dating men for less shallow reasons the problem will probably go away.
I think it’s something different but 100% as equally shallow. I think it’s less of status and money which they already have and have had for a decade; and more of the sex/the sexualization. Kim and Khloe are the only ones who really dated people who others cared about before they dated them, thanks to the NBA. They want tall, strong physique and a large dick. They also want black men because black men tend to have this attitude in bed of worshipping their women in a really excited manner.

Bruce was a good husband, who gave Kris 2 daughters and was a father to her other kids. Saying cheating on the Kardashian man is her biggest regret is kinda disreapectful to Bruce. She would not be who she is now, nor her daughters if it wasnt for Bruce's money and contacts. Kourtney is the only normal, relatable person in this family. She is not looks obsessed, she is introspective about her life. Unlike Khloe, who allowed TT to humiliate & abuse her, multiple times, Kourtney dumped Scott the minute he showed his true colors, kids or not. Khloe invited the problems into her life, because TT is never going to be a monogamous man, and he'll always be 8 years younger too, and his womanizing is just beginning! I have a long line of females in my family picking bad partners and I know where it started. My great grandma died giving birth to her second daughter at 26, the baby passed away too. Her 2 year old daughter grew up with a single father who used and manipulated women. Bad Men was all she knew. She went on to have 12 kids by 4 different men, and all her female daughters did the same, be with toxic me. It was a Curse and it also showcases what could happen if a little girl is forever separated from her Mother. That woman was Native American, she traveled from Arizona to Ohio in a wagon to meet a man she had been arranged to marry. My great grandmother was literally traded for some Horses.
