    Good video explaining a few different techniques and ideas to think about. Honestly i have used nothing but cheap jigs and not had a issue catching squid. I found a black uv egi in a bargin bin and it was pretty damn good. It was 32° bright and sunny, water was pretty clean could see the bottom in 5m deep.

    Question is what to do when squid strike and leave the lure

    • @RedemptionTackle
      @RedemptionTackle  4 года назад +1

      If they strike and drop the lure before you get a chance to set the hook. Pause the lure. And then let it drop. Squid will hit a jig 90% of the time while it's sinking or stationary

I guess different waters and probably a different species of squid as apparently there are a difference in the northern and southern squid though they’re are not arrowheads.
