Y'all are rocking those dumpsters! We have one sav-a-lot near us and it's in a kind of rough area but I am willing to try it. So jelly!! Hubby's hours got cut back to 30 hours a week so we will really depend on diving. Pray for us!!

I cackled when you gave us the visual - “you want to put it on top of the car... and have me hold it walking alongside, like a parade?!” 🤣😁🤣 That was a fantastic haul! You may already know, but a handy tip for those tortillas - finish cooking them on a medium hot griddle (the smooth flat kind). You will be amazed at the improvement in taste and texture. Lots of nice care packages in the making!👍🏼

When my Son was a teen, at Christmas he and his buddies would gift wrap boxes of Cow manure and put gift tags and bows saying to Uncle Joe Merry Christmas. Then put them on the side of the highway, cars would come to a s screeching halt and grab those pretty boxes, then as they drove down the highway you would see the gift fly out the window. It was so funny. They would hide so they could watch and laugh their b-hines off. Kids will be Kids lol!

I had a good haul last night, lots of food and some fun diy activities for the up coming winter. Going again tonight for more groceries for a friend of mine who needs it. I even found two big trash bags full of baby clothing, a baby indoor swing, and a baby bouncy chair. Also know someone who needs baby stuff. I'm finding all kinds of things now on my newly acquired route, it usually takes me about 2 hours at most to finish. As always, it was fun to see you guise! =D

I take the poska kielbasa and potatoes, broccoli, onions, cauliflower, and corn and any veggie we like and cut it up in chunks. Put it in a baking pan with some water and a little butter cover and bake it until it's all tender. Its great and it a meal in one pan
We've been checking our Aldi dumpster weekly, and my husband did great today. The cooler temperatures are so nice for this! almond milk, cookie dough, biscuit/cinnamon roll dough, 4 pizzas, a cheesecake, grapes, oranges, lettuce, cabbage, lots of kombucha, iced coffee, just a ton of stuff. What we can't use goes to our chickens. We never find the baked goods, so maybe those get donated.
I wish I could flap my bingo wings for long enough and hard enough to be flying over there filling my belly full of all that good food. Sadly, it's not to be 😢😢😂😂😂 I'll just have to be content to enjoy watching my favourite dumpster diving family saving food from landfill, feeding themselves and people in need. You can freeze eggs and use in baking. Freeze in muffin pans then when frozen put in ziploc baggies.
