Such a great video. The editing was great, the commentary was super natural. Love to see how you’re growing. I’m late to the dead cells game, so I’m not sick of it at all. I’ll be happy to keep watching Dead Cells content
Editing and general video quality has continued to improve so much, and still love the videos as always! You are the one who got me into dead cells, and I'm always happy to see a new vid!
Love the builds keep them coming ur the bomb. Could u please give an updated item video(s) like top 5-10 for brutality/survival/tactics. Ive plateaued at 4bc and only can use the rapier for a chance of winning. Please help me out there has to be better weapons lmao
Cara, sou do Brasil e gostaria de falar que adoro muito seus vídeos. Possui bastante entretenimento junto com informações e ensinamentos úteis, continue assim sempre e bom trabalho mano.
I'd like to recommend a build i had lately. It was really good. It was, even tho i somehow dislike this class, a Brutality run with the Nerves of Steel, the Parry Shield, the Large Bomb and the Grappling Hook. You will need shots pierce first enemy on the bow, otherwise it won't be as good. I had +300% damage after a Parry on the Shield. For the other items, choose freely. As for the Mutations, i had just basic ones like Sheme, Vengeance and Combo. I don't have much Brutality Mutations. I played with this on 2BC and it did a great job. Maybe you want to try it yourself. Have a good one!
Speaking of survival builds, I tried a wrecking ball build recently in custom mode, it worked out pretty good until I got to the Scarecrow (which is doable but I had the wrong mutations and skill). For starters, I used Wrecking ball + Frost blast + Ice shield + root grenade (for enemies), then crusher (for bosses such as Scarecrow or Time keeper, Giant is absolutely not recommended). Mutation wise, I had rythm (alternating primary and secondary for bosses is pretty efficient, except if they are super fast, to freeze them almost every time) + Frostbite + Berserker(biomes)/Heart of Ice (bosses)/Disengagement (optional). You should try it out, if you have the right affixes on frost blast (slow spread, bleed, 2x thaw) and wrecking ball (175% freeze damage), it's dope. I actually managed to do Conjonctivius just fine without crusher (some hits were taken by rising tentacles because they were behaving pretty weird after freeze).
recently, i've been playing with hayabusa gauntlets, and i tried to make them work with their critical condition without any other support weapon, and ended up with grapling hook and lacerating aura, and for mutations scheme + initiative, and they actually did the job pretty well
When I first picked up the Axe and tested it out, I was APPALLED by how slow it was. But I just started a run where I charged up its crit, and a single crit of the Oven Axe nearly one-shot an elite Ravager. I then took a ton of damage throughout the rest of Prisoners' Quarters, but was lucky enough to get a "poison heals you" amulet, so I didn't reset and am now in the passage to Sewers when I decided to google how to make Oven Axe work effectively.
4:41 Sure, but when you lose more than _80% of your health_ JUST on the first level, it's really worth considering a reset. Definitely woulda reset if it weren't for that amulet.
Died. Stupid Buzzcutters are WAY too fast and hit WAY too hard for this thing to deal with at all. And they don't even fly inside of the range of the axe. Ugh. I mean, I'm not surprised, just disappointed. Even more so, considering I randomly got a rare blueprint (Fisherman's Outfit, from a Festering Zombie). This thing one shot nearly every Elite I came across, but DAMN is it as slow as ever.
Hah, immediately in the next run, and now I'm trying out the Toothpick. It's actually kiiinda working? I've taken less damage than I have with Oven Axe. Abusing teleportation is pretty good for landing charged slams.
What if the oven axe started slow with the first three attacks, then the fourth was fast? I think that would shift the strategy of the weapon to "charge it up and let it go" to have a slow build up and big reward.
I’ve tried a lot of meme builds with heavies too like getting the slow enemies nearby everytime you kill an enemy and get the frostbite mutation. Its so fun. In toxic sewers the kamikazes just turn into confetti 🤣
4:41 Sure, but when you lose more than _80% of your health_ JUST on the first level, it's really worth considering a reset. I just got through Prisoner's Quarters using Oven Axe, took 80% damage on PQ, and I definitely woulda reset if it weren't for the "poison heals you" amulet I was lucky enough to get.
While it's not exactly dual binding you can put ice shards first and then any weapon and press both buttons at once and ice shards will. Trigger first then the weapon Use that with kill rhythm and you get almost dual binding.
Build idea: Rapier showcase Rapier (Fast as ####, 3 hit, crits after rolling or a parry) Frontline or a good colorless shield that is usually survival only (try to prioritize cursed chests) (tip, you can parry kamikaze bats) Try to make use of powerful or cluster grenades or infantry (for flies and just extra damage) Mutations Disengagement Initiative (no synergies in general, so this is good to have) Scheme (remember what I said about grenades? Here's some more damage >:] )
The elite fight in the graveyard is actually a cannibal Not A Clockwork Knight the Clockwork Knight so I'm pretty sure the ones in The Clocktower that Dash that basically are instant killed at least at second boss sell by parrying it
I Like to use what doesnt kill me Mutation in survival builds, its Not worth to have when Ur unexperienced in blocking stuff but U can Up to 5% of Ur Hp in late Game For blocking a simple Zombie or a lancier
All the criticism of survival around the boss damage cap never really seems to be valid in my experience. Most of the time the people who say that sort of thing don't really play survival all that much, and they think 'if survival's thing is doing a lot of damage in one hit, surely it'll be affected by the damage cap' when in reality you will still not reach it in many cases without a 2x damage or 4x damage affix. The only point of difficulty when it comes to the damage cap is spoiler's damage cap, which is 5% instead of 15%, but other colors suffer the effects of that too. Even if survival did hit the damage cap, hitting a boss 7 times seems reasonable to me. So I don't think any such change to make things hit twice is really necessary. I think most people would also prefer that dead cells has its existing content adjusted too -- things like spoiler's health being bugged in the training room or the text about legendary items in the 3bc+ display at the start of a run still haven't been fixed. I'd guess that a lot of it boils down to consumer viability -- people won't buy the game because they did some weapon reworks, and existing players or veteran players coming back to the game doesn't increase profit. This is especially true for high BC levels where only a very small portion of the playerbase will experience anything in that area. It's clear MT and EE care about that since we have updates like 2.4 and the update of plenty, but it's just not something they can devote most of their time to. You can kill slammers (and most things) with even something as slow as wrecking ball by aggroing them and queuing the attack before they land/teleport. I didn't really see you using that strategies and many other invaluable ones with survival, so it makes sense to me you don't like it. That's also the reason a lot of people don't like it: the way you make it work isn't immediately obvious. It's an acquired taste. But it does work if you put a lot of time into learning it.
Hello pseychie how was you day?In response to the scarecrow matter,i personally think concierge is the second esiest boss after him,i never use shields i just dodge roll because im a mobile player and parrying comes harder that on pc or controller,i think the scarecrow, especially with a shield, should be buffed
Could you pls make a brutality build guide for high BC? I find red the most difficult color for me. Purple simply kills monsters from distance before they even touch you and green is tanky and regains heath. Not to mention that green also has very good range weapons like the repeater crossbow. But with red I have to play melee weapons and feel very fragile.

hey pseychie! so,my save game just got corrupted full 5bc save game just gone.i searched for a solution but nobody has one so now the only way for me to this is to download and a save file so please could you share your save file with mee it would really mean a lot to me
i feel like that you should branch out in different games rather sooner then later. maybe other rougelikes maybe something else. but i would hate to see you trapt in a corner with only dead cells. because at some point dead cells, like many games, will stop getting updates and stop attracting people. a good but sad example of this is GeneralMcBadass who did only payday 2 content and when it was announced that they will stop making DLCs and interest dropping rapidly for the game, he basically fell into obscurity for a while until the Payday makers announced they ran out of money and need to milk payday 2 some more. he tried to branch out to something else but his audience is too big now and the algorithm already hard backed him into payday 2, and changing that would take so much effort that he would basically start from scratch again.
True but I feel dead cells has never really been relevant nor irrelevant. Idk what would’ve happened if I started yt this year instead of last. But I do have some video essay types of content planned, just like the roguelikes difficulty one
@@Pseychie_DC its a niche game like the first souls game used to be. having a reputation of being a hard game usually attracts certain people :) but keep it up no matter what you decide to do alright?

Oven ax is so good with a slow/freeze build, I remember my first time with being absolutely amazing with ice shards, shocked people though it sucked
Slow, yeah, but if you are gonna use freeze, i suggest the nutcracker

Man, I don't know why but I love how real you are. I really appreciate you for that.
I haven't seen the whole video yet but that intro was epic! Great work editing that.

since it's addition, the Oven Axe has been (unironically) one of my absolute favorite weapons in the game.
20/20 for the editing. I've actually said those exact things about for example tombstone ,on Reddit. Funny
