the reason why the bulls won so many games in the 94' season was because:
    1) they added a lot of complementary pieces when jordan left
    2) chicago actually ran a system. so when one of the main players doesnt play, the other players still know what to do, and thats the reason when lebron leaves the players are lost because the "lebron system" is gone(dont stand around the 3 and wait for the pass but actually do something with the ball and off the ball), its not that difficult to understand really

STATISTICALLY, they are actually pretty comparable in with Bron beating him in most categories. So I see where he could get the idea. Especially with the rise of the 3PT shooting because Bird wins in reg season percentage while Bron wins in Playoff Percentage. But we know Bron is more of a Drive & Finish type while Bird is more of a pull up. But Bron has a nasty post game. Soooo, I would really say Bron is a better shooter, BUT it can be aregued.

    • @usernotfound3

Bird has the better career 3pt %, but has like close to 4,000 LESS 3pt attempts than LeBron. Bird has the better career FT % but has less career FT attempts per game than LeBron. The stats are in favour of Bird but you can see how it’s a little misleading. At the end of the day, it’s comparing two players from different eras where trends and norms are different as well. I would say just a pure jump shot or 3 point shot, Bird is the better shooter but again, it’s hard to compare.

Magic averaged 20 and 10... LBJ is the same size but much faster, a lot stronger, and a much better shooter... My argument for LBJ is evolution... These kids these days are born to play basketball... Put in the best camps and have the best trainers since they’re able to walk... The league is a lot more skilled and athletic... It looks watered down because everyone is freakishly athletic... Not just a hand full of players like it was back then... You can argue “mamba mentality” or “clutch gene” all you want... I just think at LBJ’s best, there’s no player better...
