What’s more, applying for Russian medical degrees is relatively easier. Expect fast processing of paperwork and no entrance test at the majority of Russian universities. Around 50 medical universities and colleges operate in Russia under the aegis of the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Public Health, and the degrees offered are internationally recognised by the WHO and UNESCO, that means it is recognised all over the world. And in your countries.
In this video, in this video we will show you how to apply to a Russian medical university, we will give the cost of study and how to apply for scholarships at the end of this video so make sure you stick around.
Drama
How much you will need to pay for your degree depends entirely on which university you choose. Prices vary wildly, ranging from 122,500 p. to 880,000 p. per year. However, the national average annual tuition fee for a Bachelor’s program is around 250,000 p. per year. A Master’s degree, on the other hand, might be slightly more expensive, averaging around 270,000 p. per year.
Scholarships
Every year, the Russian government offers a number of university scholarships to international applicants. In 2021, 18,000 such scholarships were made available, with many allocated to specific countries or for specific subjects based on pre-existing agreements. Russia’s Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) organizes the scholarships.
How to apply
Contact the Russian embassy or Rossotrudichnestvo office in your country and ask about the availability of scholarships.
Complete this form, selecting six universities (no more than two in each of Moscow and St. Petersburg), clearly indicating your order of preference. You will also need to provide documents to prove your identity, level of education, and level of Russian.
Wait to be invited to take part in the selection process. Some universities require applicants to sit an exam, while others conduct interviews.
If you pass the selection process, you will be invited to provide further documentation. This includes education certificates and a medical certificate. You must translate these into Russian and notarize them.

Student accommodation in Russia
International students have several options when it comes to accommodation in Russia. Prices can vary depending on the city, with Moscow and St. Petersburg being the most expensive. Moscow, in particular, is a regular fixture in the top 10 most expensive cities in the world to live in. That said, you should be able to find something to fit any budget.
Student dormitories
Most Russian universities offer dormitory accommodation, and this is where the majority of international students choose to stay; at least to start with. A dormitory is usually the most affordable option, with prices ranging from 500 p. to 5,000 p. per month, depending on the university.
Student dorm at a Russian university
Dormitory rooms are usually shared between two to four students, which will give you ample opportunity to get to know your cohorts. Living on-campus can also provide other benefits, such as easy access to classes and other facilities offered by the university. However, if privacy is of particular importance to you, you may wish to consider one of the other options.

Private apartment which cost a good load of money of money and I wouldn’t recommend it.
The Moscow international airport scene had me gassed🤣
As always, great content

Russian medical diplomas are NOT recognised all over the world. In Europe, USA - definitely not. I know that from my own experience. You would have to confirm it by passing exams or even by spending some years re-studying at a place where you want to work at. You should know in advance that the country you would like to go after graduation is accepting your diploma.
Not all over the world but western countries because of the politics. Everything is changing and unipolar world is done.
where did you wanna study
Very nice information. I'm interested in studying medicine in Russia.

Good day and thanks for your informative video. I have a daughter that wants to become a Pediatrician and practice in the United States.
Would you advise her to go for the Bachelor's degree in Pediatrics offered by some Russian universities. We don't know if General Paediatricians in Russia are awarded MBBS/MD or not because my daughter will eventually like to write the USMLE. We really need guidance and advice. Thank you
Hello
Ma’am, as long as the university is accredited with the WHO list of Accredited medical universities, her MD will be valid in every country of the world.
It can be a very great opportunity for me to study medicine in Russia 👏😊
