You can find vans at Didube bus terminal in Tbilisi. Usually you simply ask Kazbegi and any driver will give you a direction and no, no one ever books, they are filled out on spot. What do you mean by plenty of rooms? Like hotels? There is pretty good choice of hotels, from economical to more luxurious ones.
@@artoftravelling BTW, i have one more thing to know. In the july i" m planning to visit there. So, similar type of tourist services available to other destinations from Tibilisi?
@@a007j9 Yes, there are many so-called local Marshrutskas (public transport) from Didube Stations, Station Square, Okriba Station and so on that leave to various locations around Georgia. They are not really meant for tourists but for locals but of course tourists can also use it. Not always though there are vans so if you need more comfort and want to pay more you can either ask around these stations for a van but it's not always available to all directions (until you get a private one). There are many Expat groups on Facebooks and community on Reddit where you can also ask from which station to find the transport to your desired location. Alternatively, there are also blog posts at times where they mention how to reach specific place. More further and less developed places are harder to reach.
