¡Que bonita música! Soy Hondureño mestizo pero la historia de este hombre me ha tocado como si fuera propia mía aunque no soy Garifuna y no soy de región remota como él. Yo también fuí creado por mi madre y su lirica me llegó al corazó. Ganas me dan de aprender unas palabras de Garifuna. Cada vez que alguien nuevo aprende un idioma, ayuda a preservarlo y enriquece su propia vida. Me da pesar no poder entenderle sus canciones sin traductor. Mis profundos respetos desde los EUA.
Soy mestiso, Pero cada vez que escucho la musica Garifuna se me eriza la piel casi como si fuera uno de ellos... Toda HONDURAS es Raza GARIFUNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! y vivo Orgulloso de mis Morenitos que son los que mas Ponen en alto el nombre de nuestra Patria!

Punta is a Garifuna Music genre as well as cultural dance. It is as poetic folk art genre through which social commentary is frequently expressed. The dance represents sexual dialogue between male and female who attempt to outdo each other with unique stylized movements. It is characterized by the shaking of the hips and features an almost motionless upper torso in contrast to the constant movement of the hips, legs, and feet, creating the characteristic shaking of the buttocks found in many African-derived dances.

la cancion de apertura me gusta .. la mayoria de musica en el documental es preciosa es bueno ver a Jr. trabajando con su tio y aprendiendo... Aurelio. espero que politicamente trinfes como en la musica y que las tierras que Manuel Bonilla les cedio se queden con lso garifunas por mas generaciones
