      The bassoon's intonation was not quite accurate at the start, but later the instrument warmed up and the pitch became normal.

    Wikipedia has a short article on this composer, with a partial list of works. Certainly a fine quintet, in the spirit of Danzi and Reicha

    Are there any other recordings of this wonderful group? I see they were in school together six years ago.

    Is no one going to talk about the clarinets posture?

    • @renatoperezpizarro7439
      @renatoperezpizarro7439 6 лет назад +8

      Not me. As long as the sound he produces is good, he can sit anyway he wants, it's my opinion.

    • @dsbottom

      No, but could use a haircut.

      Being a clarinetist, I was appalled by his posture, but the sound he produced more than made up for it. He can grow his hair as long as he wants. I only wish I still had hair.

      He goes to the New England Conservatory… he knows what he’s doing. Like others said, as along as he plays the part to the part, it really doesn’t matter in the real world. Though it is a possibility he could develop health problems long term in his music career..

    Aside from tone production, the way the clarinetist is sitting looks lazy and unprofessional

      It's weird but i've only seen clarinet players sit like that and still sound amazing. For some reason clarinet players really like deceiving audiences :)
