  • Many parkour gym's get a bad reputation as being "kid factories" where parkour is barely taught, and it's "all about the money". We go over some of the strategies and lessons we've learned to have a successful adult program that also makes money.
If you're in Vancouver and want to receive coaching at one of the premiere parkour gyms in the world, come check us out at Origins! Missed an audio track on this one! Recommend watching with your phone or computer’s speakers if the audio is weird with headphones. Made a note for next time. Thanks for tuning in 🙏

It's also because everyone at the gym was so welcoming, and fun to train with. We randomly showed up from Australia and you guys looked after us so good. The culture is the sum of the people in the community, not its own separate thing outside of the self. You guys have cultivated a really active and supportive community

I wish we had that over here in france. For one parkour is not a well seen sport by people and if you want to train with people, you don't have any lessons so you have to join an organization and i live in the country-side and i dont' have the age to join them as you need to be at least 14yo

Great distillation of your thoughts from sts. Retaining clients and getting new ones is a lifelong endeavour 😊 As you know I’ve had little success getting people my age, or my younger friends, to start parkour, and I’ve tried! They mostly complain about their knees…I don’t have knee problems so I can’t respond with first hand knowledge. I won’t give up encouraging people to start parkour and will try to get my Instagram page up to speed to demonstrate that parkour isn’t all for roof top running 😂
