Upon reanalyzing the footage, it looks like it is a recording issue from OBS which is disappointing...I wanted to reupload but it looks like a error from recording. Thank you for watching whats possible, I will link the full vod in the description.

There’s soooo many lags in this video …

I knew that eventually, a truly great Banjo would emerge without having to rely on techniques like fast turnaround cancel. This player just understands the bread and butter of this character to a tee.

As a fellow banjo main I loved watching TGs run. But I took it with a grain of salt, especially in the Mute Set.
    1. Mute has multiple health issues that were bother him a ton at this event
    2. Banjo is “MU check” the character
    3. Mute has 0 banjo experience
    4. TG plays Umeki all the time so he knows the “peach” MU very well
Great video! Not sure why it had so much lag.
    Keep it up!!

Muteace thinking peach win +2 is still funny to me. Its the video lagging or its my RUclips app?

    • @xanander4693
      @xanander4693 Год назад +1

It’s bc ppl don’t have any banjo experience. I think the mu is even

The video is also laggy for me

I am super conservative with my WW’s as well. I save them for recovering when opponents trying to edgeguard me. Its a get back to edge free tool. Japan smash bros scene is the best!

I always knew the Peach matchup was 2+ for Banjo.

Against characters that spend half their time in the air up tilt is a beast, especially against Puff and Peach

TG’s (Toriguri) Banjo is so entertaining to watch. This guy is pushing the Banjo meta forward, love to see it.

Uptilt is so good against peach specifically because even if they do float down air it trades and they just die

Genesis runner up with 2x wins on Acola bodied by Banjo btw

Now, I can understand Toriguri beating MuteAce, Mute has a lot of health conditions and if they aren’t properly taken care of, Mute’s performance suffers for it. Genesis was an example of where all the stars aligned and we got to see just how strong MuteAce can be at his full potential. MaesumaTOP was not one of those examples, and he made that apparent a couple days before the tournament that things were definitely off. On the other hand, taking down Umeki in the same bracket is definitely telling that the MU really is better than most would give Banjo credit for

Banjo is 99% top tier imo.
Has a huge repertoire and he can be played so differently between people.
He's my main and I'll never stop.

Who really cares about teir lists. Unless you're a top level player you shouldn't let teir lists determine who you main
