Well, thank you... It is always my hope to show products in a deeper way than most do. I may not be as entertaining as others but that is not my intent. I just want peole to make purchases with a bit more info on the product. Thanks again..
I think i will not be too much of a fan of these during a mild to hot day. I definitely dont think it would replace a classic tarp though. I think it'd be nice on a cool day with an underquilt though.
Same here. This is not a replacement for a tarp. It's not rain proof. I would only use it when I wanted to ward off the cold by increasing the interior temps or to block off an excess of wind. Other than that I prefer being able to watch the great outdoors.
Have not tried it but it seems a little short for my liking.. This is an 11 footer with loads of room. The Compound has the inner skin thing that looks promising though..
I keep telling myself I'm just going to buy another ridge gear 360 and attach ripstop straight to the zipper of one bug net so I can just zip on and zip off.love that easy, and cheaper.
Now that is a plan. I do know that ROG has a 365 model coming out that has the top cover as a zip in... Not sure if it is out yet. I know they had a few samples made but have yet to see anything of that 365.
Bob, on your bat hammock, can't you take off the net, and turn the hammock inside out, reattach the net, and wouldn't that allow you to lay head right and feet left? Happy hangings!
Lots of good information here. Every time I watch one of your videos I come away with so many great ideas. Thank you good sir.

Ya know, I thought of that but there is no way that it can be done without totally tearing it down and rebuilding.
