At 1:52 you mentioned that "sharp edges cause a lot of turbulence and they can also cause a lot of acoustic problems". Dear brother, based on which study did you said that point ? If you have any supporting source of information please let me know.I would be grateful for that. Also can you explain me how you arrived at the empirical formulae for the dimensions of the chevrons and also the nozzle. Thanks in advance
first comment :D, nice video man could you help with with this setup. I want to do a simulation of a fan but most of the tutorials i see they have initial inlet velocity i dont want to see the flow through the fan i would like to see the effect the fan blade has on the air, would i set the inlet to pressure inlet and make it atmospheric?
hello @dpsilver I am working on similar project, I am also looking for blade passing frequencies, would you like to share your experience working with it
Hello, Do you know how to display acoustics features in CFD post ? In your video you did it directly on fluent. I tried to do the same but my mesh has to much element to display it. So I tried on CFD post but I can't find the acoustic variable in contour option

thank you for the tutorial. you save my college life.
Halo mbak, bisa dihubungi mau nanya bahasan kuliahnya
like the B787..cool Video...:-)))
Awsome.
Hi vd engineering in which version of ansys this acoustic simulation available could u please tell me
Grt sir
Hello, thank you for this video. Why did you change the reference acoustic power? What is the reference of this number?
I don't do this stuff anymore
If the nozzle analysis becomes a geomentory hollow, if it is filled with the hollow section of the fluid, then what will happen?
Sir, How to decide inlet and outlet pressure values ?
Can you give me any research paper published regarding works like these?
How to open fluent launcher

Can you make this geometry in ansys
Takes too long
I could you please help me, I got Error: Floating point exception
Error object: #f
After 34 iterations
Hey. Been a long time since this video. You can google the error code

Solidworks files did not import properly; I imported a .STL version - worst mistake you can make. Save your file as Parasolid, ACIS, or STEP!

This Is not the correct way to perform an acustic analisys.. but i realy appreciate the attempt
Why did you activated acoustic model during simulation ??? I have this doubt
We are having doubt and need help as we doing project on the same topic can you please share your contact detail that would be really helpful
Hi bro have you done the model??
chevrons is bad for people who love jet noise... :(
