About once every two years something comes along that blows my socks off. The last time it happened was Svelte. Even though I don't use Svelte, I could appreciate that it was a fresh and very smart approach to JavaScript. Today, I'm getting good vibes with Supabase. I'm absolutely blown by this! Everything about it looks great. Even the website and the name. It's perfect! So, thank you for this video. I'm blown away.
The most under rated content creator! I work as a fulltime PHP developer now because of a lot of the videos you made in the past! Even though i made a whole video about you, i don't think i've done you justice - keep them videos coming!
Can I ask what you mean by "underrated"? * He has 1.59 MILLION subscribers? * His most popular videos have MILLIONS of views with HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of likes. * His most popular courses on Udemy have 10s of thousands of students with THOUSANDS of 5 star ratings. Seems like he is pretty highly rated to me ;-).
Thank you so much Brad. Today I searched everywhere even on Udemy on your website, but could not find setup course related to Supabase. Was migrating from firebase to Supabase.
Thanks for all the videos mate! You are an awesome teacher, I’ve got most of your udemy courses too. Thanks for sharing your story in the other videos, I’m currently going through the same problems in life as that you have overcome. I find coding helps occupy my mind, so I spend many hours a day doing exactly that.
This and the supabase/react video is great news for me! I'm dealing with supabase in last days (very nice api) and your insights in this topic will be very very important for improvements on my code. I'm not experienced and your videos is helping me out becoming a junior react dev. Thanks a lot!
Thank you again. Always look forward to your content. I hate to be another "could you please," but I've watch enough of your stuff to know that you pay attention and you do things when you see enough interest, so, could you please do something on Blazor?
Awesome thanks Brad, I was experimenting with Supabase not too long ago. It’ll be nice to go through a well written tutorial. (Their documentation seems to be lacking in certain areas).
Supabase seems to be so promising! I've been following the project closely and I'm planning to do some proof of concept apps soon utilizing it. Great video Brad!
Excellent video!! Learnt a lot! I am waiting for the app you supposed to be created in Next/React with Supabase. Please create a Complete app. Eagerly waiting. Thank you Sir
This is fantastic as always, looking forward to using this new and exciting technology, although I would like to see some integration with vanilla JS for those of us that haven't learnt react yet. Keep on rocking Brad 😁
One of the thing that I love a lot with firebase is the ng-fire library, which allows me to have automatically all the synchronization accross the client, offline data, ... is there an equivalent with supabase? Also, is there a way to use a Document db(noSql/mongoDb like?)
Thank you! This is an awesome video! Please, could you help me figuring it out how I can have an admin user that can view/update all items while keeping the policy that normal users can only view their own items. I was trying it by adding a field in users table that specifies if it is an admin user or not, however, I can figure it out the sql query or the next steps. Thank you in advance
Why you did not contact supabase? If there is a way to be sponsored, why miss that? I know you are recommending good stuff. And there is no point to lose money if you can earn it:)
What's the difference from Strapi.io? I remember using it on a small app and had the same functionalites. *API with out of box filtering *Granted Authorities *UI database table generation
Sept. 2021 - Using a rest client plugin in VSCode, I couldn't access my table API through the methods Brad used. I got my apikey and Authorization details from API > Tables and Views > Messages > Read rows > Bash > anon key. I get the error response (401 Unauthorized) "Invalid authentication credentials" Anyone else having this problem?
Late answer, but maybe someone else could get helped by it: I had the same problem, but had checked "Enable Row Level Security (RLS)" when creating the table (because it was recommended). Unchecking that box enables access to the table and the requests in Postman started working.
Hey guys, the React/Supabase video will be released within the next couple days :) Thanks for watching
We are grateful to you Brad. Thank you.
nice!!!!!!!!!!
Looking forward to it
I look forward to this course!!!!
Looking foward to it. Thankyou Brad

Thank you. Ive watched so many supabase vids and this is the first that covers the "only edit my own items" scenario. Thank you
