The thing I love about phone repair guru, is that he always talks about what he is doing! I’ve seen so many videos of people doing it without telling what their doing unlike him. Keep up the great work man!!
These repair videos made me appreciate modern technology even more. So cool. We only see the phone from the external side but the internal is much more interesting.
Great that despite some hurdles, this phone is now fully functional. Can't bare those idiots that destroy electronics for clicks, so it's nice this iPhone won't end up as e-waste.
@@FlyingPigChannel he basically just replaced the housing and repaired the logic board, even without the new housing it still worked (with a new screen)
My first time working on an iPhone 12 was changing the changing the charging port for a customer...man this phone is a screw nightmare, literally more screws that what other companies use to secure down a charging port. But at the end of the day I was satisfied as it was my first repair done on an iPhone 12 and the customer was very happy as I did it relatively quick compared to what others where saying it will take and all the screws went back in the way they came out so I was also satisfied. 😎
People who destroy their phones to that level intentionally don't deserve a fixed phone they don't deserve a phone at all. But you did some amazing work there!
WOW Guru! Awesome video- you are a Jedi 😂 - my mind is blown! The depth of the video was amazing and the before and after is wild as well. Great work! I am stoked you were able to repair Thanks for the in depth breakdown- I will defintely check out Marnics video with the full micro repairs as well 🔥🔥🔥
I wonder what the total repair cost for this phone would be with all the spare parts and labour included. It can't be more than the cost of a new phone right?
Hey man, People like him should be discouraged from making such videos of destroying good and working stuff as it is all the more encouraging such behaviour. You can see numerous RUclipsrs doing similar kind of stuff. Many kids are also watching and practicing such behaviour. (Speaking from experience) Great work on repair by the way
I am all for durability tests such a drop tests, scratches and water damage, etc… hammering nails into a phone has nothing to do with durability and is just about attention seeking.
I recently came across your channel, man. I used to work as a phone repair tech for a couple of months, but I found the job so hard and I was tired of all the rookie mistakes I made, so I quit. Having watched your videos, you make the process so much less intimidating than I first thought.
every one of his videos I wonder: why do people do this to their phone? Me: destroys my phone by playing basketball with it when I don’t have a basketball
thank you for showing the brand of battery you use, when I first started it was SO HARD to find a decent battery and a good vendor who was reliable with them
Haven’t even watched a second but, I’m just gonna guess you aced it and it works, great vid man, keep up the good work, Would luv to see u repair a MacBook in the future
“Gripping any phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas. This is a fact of life for every wireless phone.”
Dude that guy that does the logic board repair is my hero!! WOWOWOWOWOWO! thats small and tedious, like freeaking crazier than heart surgery soooo tiny!!
I'm amazed you were able to get this phone working, but what I'm wondering is that if repairing it would still be less than what it's worth when bought new, and if someone were to buy this phone in particular would have problems later down the road due to its abuse...
This video was a ride! I didn't expect that thing to survive but here we are. Great stuff! I got a good laugh out of the first part where you pulled the phone out of the box. Without context, that was gold.
Where I work, there's service techs who do the micro soldier and chip removal on a daily basis and I have mad respect for their skill. Robots just can't do that type of work. Some of those components are smaller than the tip of a pin.
Absolutely amazing , when I had seen the phone being smashed, hammered, sawed 😯 , I didn’t think it would have a hope in hell BUUT of course master phone guru ,you re truly incredible and your friend guy that did the other lil bit. Hmmm I have my sons phone (and iPhone 7 that is smashed ~ was thrown to the ground) that I’m now really thinking of sending to you lol 😃 Fantastic incredible jobs of fixing that phone !!!!!! Lots of love and support from Winnipeg,Manitoba,Canada 💕
If you would transplant the battery bms from the original battery to the replacement one you should not receive battery error, and the screen has a touch ic which same if you would transplant it to the replacement one you can get rid of screen error. But in the end, you gave it a new life and thats amazing! 😇
It lets you boot up the iphone 12 without face id plugged in, its just the backlight doesnt turn on. If you use a flashlight or bright light on the screen with face id removed you can see a very dim image .
From what I just heard tonight Apple is now allowing people to repair their phones (nice as you know we own them and all) and will be releasing parts for said repairs. This may mean as well that third petty parts will be possibly recognized as well (no more stupid messages after repairing the phone)
OK. what was the cost for the repair? Higher then another phone? Used or new? Isnt that wha apple want...? Thanks for the great Video Love watching your stuff.
