I buy a lot of crossbody bags also. I just don’t like to be inconvenienced when I am out and about and also the hands free thing is a must when you have young children.
I think the “ugliness” is definitely a charming thing for some items and they end up growing on you! Maybe it was better for me to say that it’s eccentric 😂 Definitely can relate about needing to be hands free, when we go shopping with our dogs any bag without a shoulder strap just becomes dead weight for me lol

It really has aged well! I don't baby it at all and there's no glazing issues or noticeable wear on the leather. I'm super impressed and lusting for the Amazona bag now 😆 The dopp kit is amazing! So easy to access everything. The only negative is that it's really easy for the vachetta to get wet as its kept in the bathroom 🙄 but this is a problem that could be solved easily by getting the non monogram versions with the treated leather :) Thanks so much for your comment!

I have the same toiletry bag and I love it for the reasons you mentioned. It’s part of the men line, it’s the first time I see someone on RUclips talking about it, we usually see the Nice ones. I have a cf in caviar and one in lambskin. I prefer the look of the lambskin but I have to admit that I don’t treat my caviar one the same. I am way less scared to scratch it. That being said, my lambskin hold up very well.

I think the mini puzzle is adorable but I’m trying to ban myself from small bags so let me know how you like it if/when you get it!! I used to lean towards the Kelly but I think I might prefer the slouch of the Birkin judging by how I like my puzzle bag to be dumpling 🥟 shaped 😂 and totally agree with the caviar CF vs lambskin Thanks so much for the view!
@@rui_etc If you like the Kelly but prefer the slouch, maybe a Retourne Kelly in Togo is right for you, instead of the Sellier style Kelly. I prefer the Retourne Kelly look myself as well.
If you plan on selling the BV bag, do it soon. The Cassette bag was heavily pushed and is no longer trendy => resale price will fall. You can admire pictures with that money in the bank 😉
I believe as Bottega's "signature" bag, trendy or not, they'll keep up with their yearly price increases with the cassette collection in particular. I'm not super worried about resale value - it's probably the "fad"-iest bag I own which won't hold value as well as classics but totally knew that going in 🤣 I'm just a sucker for a good brown leather bag

What’s wrong with the Bottega veneta bag?
The wear and tear on the glazing at the corners of the bag is a huge issue for all the padded cassettes, at least for me... and I've had three 😅
