Those scorpions you showed and handled are the kind of scorpion that have weaker venom due to them mostly using their large ans robust claws or pincers to dispatch prey so their venom is about as potent as a bee sting(although problems arise if the person being stung is allergic to bee venom). Those scorpions on display (genus Heterometrus is I am not mistaken, most likely Heterometrus longimanus "Palawan" ) are often bred in captivity by exotic pet enthusiasts and zoological facilities since they're docile. It's mostly the scorpions that have smaller pincers that have more potent and medically significant venom, like for example the African Fat-tailed Scorpion or the Deathstalker Scorpion.
