- 14 Questions the Buddha Refused to Answer - Why?
In this video, we explore why the Buddha chose not to answer 14 metaphysical questions. Throughout his teachings, the Buddha focused on practical guidance for ending suffering rather than engaging in speculative debates.
He saw that these questions-about the universe, existence, and the soul-did not lead to liberation or transformation. Instead, they distracted from the essential path to enlightenment.
By understanding why the Buddha remained silent on such matters, we can better appreciate his wisdom in guiding us towards a more meaningful and peaceful life.

Great! This video does an excellent job of helping viewers understand why the Buddha refused to answer the 14 metaphysical questions. The explanation that the Buddha focused on ending suffering rather than engaging in debates that don’t lead to liberation highlights his profound wisdom. The video not only provides a clear explanation but also delivers a practical message for everyday life, guiding viewers toward peace and enlightenment.
Great!!
Its not that, Lord Buddha do not know the answers, 👏 but the one who asks the questions was convinced by his own answers and is not in position to accept Buddha's word's of wisdom. So Lord Gautama Buddha 🙏 keep quiet and later instructed his followers to provide an answer to it. You will find concrete responses in Buddhist MadhyaMakya texts. May Buddha Dharma flourishes ❤ may peace prevail 🙌
Exactly, that's the core message of the video! The Buddha doesn't need to speak when the questioner is already bound by their own views. His silence contains profound wisdom, as explained in the Madhyamaka texts. Thank you for sharing, and may the Buddha's teachings continue to spread! 🙏

@@Buddhasecret2024 you're truly incredible
This video seems like good intentions were meant. But a little short of the mark. The person is God. How can someone think they are other than an omnipresent being? If there is a god, then you are them. This is what the Buddha was trying to put in words. Really hard to do, but thank you for the perspective!
I leave this comment because I am also trying to dig deeper. I really mean no disrespect
