Thanks very much for sharing your experience with Kaz with all of us. I enjoyed your video very much!
What a wonderfull attitude : “ every failure is just more reason for success”
for me that seems to be a truly honoring of the dance of the living now - and beautifull demonstdTion of the red circle and the title “ miracles of each moment
Moving video, where slowness enters the soul of an essential and original artist and a profound and deeply transcendental
human being. And…a friend who changed my life. Luk Darras
Synchronicitous for me to encounter this when I did. The miracle of the moment indeed!
I'm a miniaturist painter, and to see that Yatsumo brush left me in awe. I can't even imagine painting with something like that. Also wondering if something is wrong with me because seeing areas where the brush was dry and the paint did not go on the surface made my skin crawl like fingernails on a chalkboard. I have problems. Lol. Truly enjoyed watching this master create.
Delighted to learn of Kaz and Peter Levitt's connection with my teacher, Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. "Present Moment, Wonderful moment. "
Thank you so much for this wonderful video ! I knew him by his painting and philosophy but had never seen this amazing video that I will share with my friends and will watch and re-watch again. This morning it was a most precious gift for me. Merci, merci mille fois. Sending Peace and Love from Montreal, Canada 🙏❤️

Ahhh!!! Some years ago I learned to play the lute (very, very imperfectly), and that was my favourite
piece. I couldn't play it, but at every lesson I asked my lutemaster to play it for me.
Tanahashi-san's work is so beautiful! Thank you for creating and sharing this wonderful documentary.
Thank you, Ben!
"tanahashi-san" oh my God get over yourself you fucking weeb.
Well done, what fine job you did making this.
It was a very interesting and relaxing video with a lot of atmosphere, not only due to the content, but also because of the way you chose to film it.
It was good to have some quiet pauses in the video, which you obviously chose not to fill with anything either irelevant or inappropriate.
Thanks from Japan.
Thanks to the author for this film. That's amazing.

Greetings to all here, could some one please help me to identify the Brush Kazuaki Tanahashi said about (7:25) It's a brush with 3 types of hair, Hard in the middle (Pig), next layer is medium (Badger) and on top is Sheep. Could you please share a link or picture for an actual product, would love to buy those and try out! Thanks!
Quelqu'un qui ne connaît pas les idéogrammes chinois manque les trois quarts de l'émotion. Mais il y a quand même de l'émotion devant cette danse du pinceau....
My beloved animal friends seemed to understand my great needs~as I created my own brushes.

Would anyone have any information on the back black painting at 4:21 ?
I want to be his best friend and I would love to own one of his artworks. Maybe he’ll do a trade? 😉😂😂 I loved this and was legitimately sad that it ended.
谢谢🙏
Anyone knows where one can buy those big brushes? I can't find them at art stores.
I'd imagine you'd have to get one custom-made like Kaz said he did
as long as it is a labor of love then do not complain or do not do
Does anyone know what character he painted on 24:26? I'd appreciate it.
It's one of advanced forms of 無 (pronounced "Mu" in Japanese) that can be recognized from its movement. The meaning can be: void, nothingness, limitless (as in 無限 Mugen), etc.
nice work

I wish I could get a cliffnotes version of this. With the 5 - 10 minutes of actually interesting content. Thanks though.
