Just installed the 5 speaker/2 tweeter upgrade and 2 x subwoofers in my 2017 330i xdrive. For anyone who's complaining about the difficulty of the install you've obviously never installed any type of audio component in a car. And yes these are "plug & play". Its not Bavsound's fault that you need to dismantle the doors to get to the speaker. Like, get a clue. And if Installing something this simple intimidates you then please grow a pair. Btw I did not fully remove the door panels. I didn't disconnect a single cable. I just let the door panel hang there. There really is no need to disconnect anything from the door panel. The only modification needed is to the front center speaker grille where you need to snap off the 2nd clip from the left which I believe he did as well. But regardless, in total 5 speakers, 2 tweeters, and 2 subwoofers took me a little under 2 hours total. And the sound difference is insane. The difference in sound from my hi-fi system which is the basic sound to what it is now after install is incredible. Its like how audio sounds in my friends BMW who has the Harmon Kardin system. Considering what a dealer wanted to charge me to install a system with comparable sound I'd say Bavsound audio components are a steal.

I was just going crazy over the center channel.. after 30 min messing with it I finally got it sitting flush by taking off the magnet cover and then the panel didn’t snap in! I was so pissed. Went to bed and researched. Well your comment solved my issue lol. thank you!

Why do you say that about the rear HK drivers? What makes them sound any different from the rest of the mid/tweeter drivers throughout the car? I just bought a 335 w/ HK and am curious.

If you have Harman Kardon, on the front doors there is 2 tweeters and it clearly says Harman Kardon

What sound deadening material did you use/prefer?
We discontinued carrying our branded sound deadening material in early 2020, it was not included in the upgrade kits. Here is a link for sound deadening material with great reviews:

Bad memory. You had a video doing this in an F30 in 2013. Now your are still guessing how to remove that door handle trims. You start from the top not the bottom, otherwise you will break the plastic clip at the bottom.
Actually you forgot 2 speakers underneath the 2 front seats........
Those are ghost subwoofers and he said at the begining of video they will be at separate video.
